OMG! I could not stop smiling on this entire video! When you guys were holding the sausage and potato on the skewer, you both looked like big kids holding a big lollypop 🍭!!!! You guys looked sooooo happy and CUTE!!! They put butter on everything because Hokkaido is known for butter. Any butter or milk products come from Hokkaido is the best:) Actually all food in Hokkaido is awesome! I love to see your smile ❤ You guys are such a cute couple!

Thanks so much! We really do love traveling and sharing food! We got a little giggly when the beers kicked in at the end😂. When we were editing we said “I can’t believe we didn’t mention the butter!” It reminded us of our favorite butter from Ireland. We ate a ton of dairy and took cheese snacks as a souvenir when we left! We are planning to share an entire Hokkaido food tour. It will include Hakodate and Sapporo the things we enjoyed outside of the snow fest, stay tuned and thank you!

🙌🙌🙌This was easily one of the best days of our lives! Truly one we will never forget. And if we do there’s a video of it😂. Have a rad day!
What's amazing about these guys is that they're not just regular travel VLOGs, but instead introducing minor local food cultures. that's perfect. I think they are quite Japanese experts.

😍❤️🇯🇵! Thank you so much! We made this our comment of the day on our Instagram. These words really make our day and we are so happy you took the time to write them! Thanks for watching our Japan journey, we have so many more delicious videos to come!
Thanks so much! We had no intention of doing a food tour here because we had no idea there was food at all!😂 In our next Hokkaido video we’ll share how we decided to make this video on the fly! Thanks for watching!

Flying to JP in less than a month: Tokyo, Niigata, and finally Sapporo after 35 years! I just have to mention that, after watching videos nonstop for the past 10 months of other content creators in JP, YOU definitely bring such positive, genuine, and unrehearsed energy to all of your videos. They have been concise and fast paced with no fake reactions to the food you're obvi enjoying. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Kudos to both of you and the wonderful personalities you bring to your videos. Subarashi!!

Thank you so so much! We try to keep it real as possible! It was hard in Japan because the food really was that bomb! We have some fails but often don’t include them in our final cuts. Thanks a million for the support, it truly means the world to us!

One of my favorite event destinations on earth! The snow is so beautiful, the sculptures are so incredible, and the food in Sapporo is absolutely among the best in Japan. When I was there, I ran into Anthony Bourdain (RIP) while he was filming his episode of No Reservations up there, and he stopped and chatted with a bunch of us American tourists and took photos with everyone who wanted one. Dude had to be freezing - he was wearing cowboy boots, skinny jeans, and a leather jacket. Dunno if you're still in the area, but a few blocks up from Sapporo Tower is a building with a ferris wheel on the roof. It's a pretty cool view!

Whoa that’s an incredible story! Would’ve LOVED to meet him. We love the outfit description too, spot on. Our next video is going to be all the rest of the delicious food we ate in Hokkaido (Sapporo and Hakodate). We had no idea there was a Ferris wheel on top of a roof, that’s right up our alley! Sapporo is a place we will be back to without question, we will be sure to find it next time! Thanks again!
This is kinda video I love watching! Im going to winter festival in 2025! Honestly cant wait!!

Thanks! We actually didn’t plan on filming the video but we saw the sausage and weee like “NEW PLAN!” 😂. Thanks for coming to the snow festival with us!
Honestly everything looked so good, but for me, first the actual pork roll on a stick, then the dehydrated cheese (I'm a sucker for good rich cheese). But I gotta say, lost my ish with the DEEP FRIED SALMON!! My mouth was watering something inappropriate!! That sounds and looks soooo good!! Had to edit this once I finished bc THAT WAKO MEAT!! 😳🫢🫠

😂🎉Haha we love this comment so much! Looking back the sausage and cheese should have been eaten as a combo! That would’ve been good! We had not planned on making this video but when we visited the sculptures at night and saw the food vendors, we knew that we absolutely had to eat everything we could find! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
What an amazing welcome and place to call home! We can’t wait to come back to visit in the summer!

So cool! We would love to seen that park in the summer time! Munich is high on our list! Germany is pretty expensive for us which holds us back when we are traveling places. We visited Frankfurt and made some great friends at a Christmas market there years ago, can’t wait to see Munich!
Thanks for another fabulous video. The sausage on the skewer looked so delicious. I'm so hungry right now!! Take care.

Alyssa and Brandon, you guys should really invest in a pair of wall gloves or mittens. The wall will really keep your hands warm. You could also use an under layer of cashmere wool. When I was a downhill skier, I would always have a bass layer of Kashmir roll on top and bottom, and have gloves. Sorry, I don’t know why Siri is misspelling all my words. I really mean wool WOOL.
@HeresGoodTravel7 ай бұрын
😂the funny thing is we almost purchased good gloves while we were in Japan but could t justify the cost because we were only in the snow for a couple days. Home in San Diego they would do us no good😂. Fun fact we actually purchased those “gloves” in Guadalajara when we were filming down there for 25 cents a pair. They were the WORST! Good thing about living in Southern California is we often get very cheap winter gear on clearance since nobody ever buys it. We will upgrade for next winter.
Japanese Baseball Game at 10 degrees F. The 3 Alpacas watched. I hated the idea of spending my day off with Interpol service for it. Japanese Health Antisocial Law. They always do the same things every 10 years. I thought I was good with patrol. It helps to move or run in cold weather.
