I agree. This was the last decade of true country music singers & amazing songs too. The newer ones certainly don't sing like this, that's for sure. Sara has always been 1 of my huge favorite singers, songwriters & entertainers. Just this song alone proves why she's 1 of the best there is. This is a country classic just like all of her songs are. My daughter was born in 1998....I used to rock her and sing her to sleep everynight. This was one of her favorites. She is grown now and has a tattoo that says 'no place that far' in tribute to my singing that to her all those years. We'll never really be apart. ❤

This song randomly popped my head yestery. Haven't heard it in a few years. I no longer listen to country stations. 90% of Today's Country Suck. Thinking about the song, I could feel myself, getting emotional. Not sure why. Listening to it just now, the water works are very heavy. In 1998, I was 19. I am 42 now. Through the years, I've had a handful of relationships, where I felt this way strongly about someone. I haven't been in a relationship 2 yrs now. And the last time I ever felt this about someone is nearly 5 yrs now. Mentally and emotionally I'm done. I'm not sure if I can risk or handle another heart break in my life. I have officially become numb to songs like this. And tend to avoid listening to them, even if its a song I absolutely love. Like this one. I think the reason the song made me cry so heavy is, listening to it, made me remember what it truly feels like to feel that way for someone. How my much younger self was very optimistic that my soul mate was out there, which made me optimistic that every new relationship, could very well be my soulmate I been patiently waiting for. Its a wonderful feeling, even if I just had my head up in the clouds. Alot of adults have sweet memories of their childhood and would give anything to be that child again, just for the day. This is kind of the same thing. Song makes me remember being that Naive head in clouds young person. Today, I wish I wasn't so scared to be in a relationship again. I'd give anything to feel that way about someone again.
