My father is a horrible man, so it made this song all the harder. I got pregnant and would not abort and he threw me into the cold winter snow with my stuff in plastic bags, them, both parents, not caring where i went or what happened to their grand child I was carrying. I had a very difficult road ahead. Lived on the street, went into a homeless shelter, had to deal with situations that were plain awful, and I could not understand how a parent's love is not unconditional. From the 1st time I saw my child's face, I knew that my love surely was - for life! NO conditions. I made the right choice, and 4 more kids later I knew over the years, decades really, that there would never EVER be anything they could ever do to not be my baby. Nothing I would not forgive, nothing that I would not help them get through. That is the job of a good parent. Mine always let me down, but we do NOT have to become as our parents were. You can break the cycle, and I am so proud of my kids and they know it every single day, my love runs deeper than they could ever possibly imagine!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!! If you had a great father, hug him, hold him close - BE VERY THANKFUL! Not all of us get so lucky to whom we are born to. XOXO

TheSduff27 I understand what you mean. I used to have times where I would get in trouble but as soon as the girlfriend came in everything got worse and just to have my dad back is all I want because it might seem like I'm over it but songs like this bring it back up. That's what country music is mostly about and that's why I like it. At least I can relate to songs like this

I grew up as the last child of 4 to my dad. Affection from him wasn’t returned until I 18 and graduated. That was first time I’d heard him say I love you and I’m proud of you. He never grew up with affection and was 3 years before passing before I heard those words from him. I don’t hate him, nor resent him. He never abused me.. He was still the best thing to happen to me. Just wish he was still alive to meet his first and only grandchild

I wanted to be a mother my whole life and dealt with some infertility caused by prior drug use. I felt so guilty. My beautiful son is now 10 weeks old. I dance with him every night while singing this ❤
@VictoriaEmighHorn2 жыл бұрын
I just danced with my 3 year old to this song before my husband put him to bed. I cried and he was so confused. He asked me why I made that noise 😅 I told him I was sniffling because I was crying because I love him so much. He said "oh. I love you too mom." in the sweetest little voice. He's the sweetest. Being 1 of 4 kids born in 5.5 years he doesn't get a lot of individualized attention. They are usually all getting group attention. They go potty together, get baths together, eat meals together, play together and clean up together. They go everywhere together. We. We go everywhere together. He's always with me but it's never just us two, if that makes sense. None of my kids have gotten to be the baby of the family long enough but especially not him. He became a big brother for the first time at 14 months old and went from being mama's baby to being a toddler and a "big helper" with the baby and doing everything his big brother did. We both really needed this heartfelt song and mother-son dance before he went night-night tonight. I'm forever grateful for this song and the lovely lady behind the beautiful voice singing it. 🤍

I think it's never late to get back the love of our kids to us once again. . That was the last time we spoke.That night I'd been grounded and couldn't go with him snowmobiling, he'd gotten in an accident and died. :( After he passed, I changed a lot, positively and negatively. 3:44 that little guy reminds me of my little brother. He's gonna be 4 this year in July...and in January of 2014 i will be turning 20. He's my only sibling, and we are 15 1/2 years apart and i will protect him from whatever i can. i love him and, though he gets on my nerves most days, i remember how amazing it is to finally have a little brother in my life. :)

Parental love for a child is evident in this video. I think of Sara today as a loving parent. I think Sara posses an inner love, not just for her own children, but for many others. This is one of the reasons why I love her so much. She is truly an angel.

Take a moment. Look how utterly gorgeous this woman is without any makeup on. Waking up and looking at this woman would make every day seem like the best day you ever saw. I'm not saying that there aren't other things of beauty we don't see with our own eyes but this sight is truly magnificent.
@rideon21310 жыл бұрын
I don't mean to be rude, but you do realize this video is edited and she does have make-up on, it's just made to look natural. Once again, I don't mean to be rude just don't want you to have a false perspective. (:
@alhuggins364610 жыл бұрын
thank you and I don't take you to be rude. my comment was made on the spur of the moment based on my first look and response, not as a picture I spent much time looking at. on the other hand, because I really like Sarah's music, and I do think she's a very beautiful woman, it wouldn't matter to me if she was wearing makeup or not. as a matter of fact, I feel the same with a lot of women that I look at because in essence they're naturally beautiful, where makeup makes women more PRETTY than beautiful. I try not to have a false perspective on things....I'm a little more openminded than that. at least I'd like to think so. after all, I might see the same beauty in you......in my perspective.:):):):)

This doesn't necessarily apply here but great artists are great because they sing from the heart. If she is even half of what her music says she is it would be a gift to even know her as a friend of a friend

with the wish, of course, that she would be a little bit closer than that.:)

My father abused me sexually, physically and emotionally all my life since I was 4 years old and by the time I was 16 my self esteem had nearly been completely destroyed. Then I found Jesus and God’s my new father and although I’ve forgiven my father for what he did to me I can never forget. But I can use the experiences and trials that made me stronger to help someone else in need.

This goes out to everyone who has lost someone who u love dearly or has failed to be there for someone u love and regret it later. There is still hope

this song is so beautiful even though I grew up without parents I am a single parent myself now so I associate it to how I hope my son feels when he's grown. I hope he knows he'll always be my baby but for now he's not even two so he's totally my baby and my heart beams at every smile and every tear I make go away for him.

My heart doesn't want him to go but my mind says it's a fabulous experience for him. Oh God please watch out for him.because I love him so. Into your hands God I place him. I know he will be safe with you.
