Then to say when asking for belong is back - well you can keep the lighter fluid - what a punch in the gut to the daughter and justice!!! I don't think they got it right, i believe he got away with murder. Maybe the jury felt there was reasonable doubt. Who changes a burn victims clothes before getting them to the hispital? Why did he drive the couch to a different location? Where are the clothes she was wearingwhen sge waas burned? He tried to cover the evidence.
@andrew469563 сағат бұрын
If there was reasonable doubt they got it right.
@karenwilliams38823 сағат бұрын
Yep, you should never remove the clothes off of a person with second and third degree burns, only the emergency room should do that. I can see taking the burnt couch outside away from the house, but not down the road miles away. Also the burn pile on the other property was still smoldering, I'm sure if the police investigators did their job correctly they could have found remnants of her clothing or even maybe some other evidence in that burn pile?
@seeking-unknowns32523 сағат бұрын
Yes they got this right not guilty the prosecution and work of the police was poor
@lovetohuntlovetohunt62412 сағат бұрын
I agree, but sadly, now we know why their work was poor 😕 When the evidence is really there at a crime scene, their work will come right to them! When the evidence is partially there at the crime scene, their work gets harder, but as they work hard, they can build a case! When the evidence isn't there at all at a crime scene, then statements along with accusations of this person is guilty of arson & mrdr, but their statements & accusations are only made-up out of their seized evidence, without proof to back it up, an equital is a hard working jury, who really paid attention at work ! I'm really hearing a lot about sloppy work, uncompleted work, no follow-ups & incompetence out of DCS Workers, LEO'S, CSI'S, Atty's... & that is freakin' awful & quie scary, especially when we are living in the age of "Hey! Your tools are right here, & everything you will need is available to solve a case!" Then we find out they didn't use all of the tools, & or what is available to them, & for pete's sakes they don't even have any knowledge to do so, incompetent as ever & they still refuse to give a solvable case to others who do! It's just lazy & crazy😏

During closing, the state did say the victim said he did it but it wasn't admitted into evidence due to "hearsay." That's not good for the victim! Imo, this wasn't a good trial. I think anything the victim stated to anyone in LE, should most definitely be shared during the trial! Shes deceased and not able to speak anymore! I'm very disappointed. I also think the defense was given too much grace. Probably due to her being the Senator. Which shouldn't matter. Poor Terry didn't get justice today! ⚖️🚫🥺💔

Law should be if the state brings charges against you, drags the case on for 6 years, causes you stress and financial hardship, and then are found not guilty in a jury trial the state must pay the defendant 1M dollars within 7 days, I'll bet states start doing a better job if they are going to prosecute someone.
