I don't want to be rude and I am not trying to bash any woman for aging. I've been very confused by what I really don't like about this entire series and I'm thinking I figured it out. What made the show so groundbreaking was that the lady spoke about things unimaginable and they were the antithesis of being politically correct. Also, maybe she has dentures or dental implants and that's why she has this lisp and weird mouth thing going on. It's very distracting for me because of the character Charlotte always having such expressive lips and clear diction. I know aging is a thing and we can't know what will happen so in that way it is a blessing. It's just so hard because we have frozen these ladies in time in the Sex And The City that we've known. This is more like Menopause And The City so it's just thrown everyone for a loop. Nothing about what made Charlotte so sweet and proper seems to be left. This is a completely different show and although they said that as a warning we had no clue that there would be no remnants of what created the audience in the first place. I feel like the fans have been let down in a big way and this is what happens when people take it for granted that you can have just anyone write for a classic show.

Two things: Charlotte did knock down her partner - which is not in the spirit of "good tennis" - and if it were the other way around, she wouldn't just let that pass either.
