I had this song played at my son’s funeral. He died from an overdose in a hotel room. He was 32. I miss him every day of my life.

Congratulations 👏 Sarah. Nelly Furtado has a better voice than what is pushed on the radio 📻 especially here in the USA 🇺🇸. American radio ought to play more of her ballads. Add that Nelly Furtado has a great impression of fellow Canadian Celine Dion! 🤯

💕 I’ve always loved this song and Sarah has NEVER failed to impress me with her angelic voice AND class, esp when compared with many of her contemporaries in today’s music. Nelly was very good too but imho seems to have a 👍 voice more suited as a ‘country’ style singer. However they still pulled it off with this beautiful duet. 👏 Had my late mother wanted a public wake and funeral I would have had this song by Sarah played - maybe now I’ll use it for mine. FYI: Susan Boyle did a great 🌟 cover of ‘Angel’ (and IIRC won one of the UK’s ‘Blind Talent’ competitions) that also made me tear up.

Overproduced- still beautiful but the album original version is just so absolutely sweet & haunting at first listen that it is hard for other versions to top it- im-humble-o. This song + SM's version of Lightfoot's "Song for a Winter's Night" are beyond beautiful. My 2 cents. {:-))
