An old man hit me with his car earlier today while I was on a bike training session. Just watched your video from the hospital. Thanks for the inspiration;) ! All the best with the recovery!

Hi Ben, focus on what you can do not what you can’t. Soon enough things improve and by doing even the smallest things you will progress faster. All the best for your recovery ❤️‍🩹 sorry to hear. Take care

I spent about ten minutes at that dismount line. There were so many crashes. Not only is the dismount line in an awkward spot, it's also really narrow. You're a tough cookie, Sarah!

Just watched this Sarah - I’m just a humble AGer but fwiw I had my best result at Kona after cracking a rib. I’d been training super hard and it forced me to dial back the intensity and just go aerobic for the last few weeks. Hope it all heals well and see you in Cairns (I’ll just be spectating this one)

Oh no 🥺 that sounds terrible. Reach out when you start back training for some tips. I recommend keeping everything indoor and also using a snorkel swimming. It has really helped.

My gosh Sarah! Ur made of incredibly tough stuff-but we already knew that!! Man, I felt winded watching that crash! All the absolute best for ur recovery & for Cairns-it certainly sounds like things are heading in the best direction they could be! I can totally relate to feeling the damage after all is said & done-one of the times I came off the bike in a race I didn’t realise I had done a collar bone til they took me to get all of the gravel scrubbed out of my skin😂

Rain and weather = funny, do you really save that much time taking your shoes off a few seconds earlier, we need to chat about that one sister, part of winning anything in life is knowing when to = hardest thing to do in life is the ability to take a step back from oneself and look outside in rather than always looking from inside out, can you do Cannes of course you CAN, sorry dying is easy comedy is hard, titanium bike in the future, song for the video = I’m still standing = Elton John.

Why don't you do any PTO racing? Just curious...heal up!
@SarahCrowleyOfficial
@SarahCrowleyOfficial Жыл бұрын
Hi Amanda! I was last year but since then the races have clashed with my Ironman preparation. It’s so hard to turn on the speed in a big Ironman block which I discovered at Edmonton last year. Lead pack in the swim and an epic fail for the rest of the race. Next year I plan to do a few more. Good question it’s a hard balance.

Mate my T-score is checked regularly and it’s better than average for my age. I was almost empaled by the base bar so I’m feeling pretty lucky it wasn’t worse.
