Best labor at home position is kneeling on the couch, holding the back of it and letting your body do whatever movement it needs to during a contraction👍💕 good luck girl!

I had my son at 35 weeks, was induced because of low AFI so it was necessary, what helped me get through the induction really was the induction video from Sarah. Knowing what to expect really helped A LOT and keeping a positive mindset as well as a flex and flow mindset do boost my confidence in going through my labor (which was a vaginal labor). So I really highly recommend learning through the videos 👍 didn't get to go through the online classes on time but the videos were sufficient for me personally at least

I had my son on May 16th. I walked about 18 miles over a period of 6 days before I went into labor naturally. All that walking paid off. I labored for only 8 hours and he came out vaginally in 3 pushes. You are so right! Motion is lotion!😂😂

I went into spontaneous labour at 39 weeks and still needed to be put on a drip to induce my labour further. Hopefully all will go well it seems like your body knows what its doing.

I’m due in less than two weeks. So excited! Love these videos! It’s interesting how differently people can feel about things. I enjoy learning as much as I can. I hope you (sister) don’t have to be induced. If you are, I think it’s great that it’ll be at 41 weeks and not 39, just because I think your body will likely be more ready and accepting of the induction. I bet it will all go wonderfully. I have never been a fan of inducing (just my personal preference), but I know sometimes your options just run out. I realized, this time (4th baby) that I would actually opt for an induction had my GBS test come back positive, just because I’d be so worried that my labor would go quickly and I wouldn’t be able to get the needed antibiotics. Thankfully, I’m negative, so I’m just waiting for baby, like y’all. Best wishes for a smooth and blessed birth experience! Can’t wait to hear an update.

My induction was less painful and way better than my natural births. 🤷🏻♀️

Does this mean inducing labor naturally doesn’t really work and eating dates won’t help that much? I’m trying to see if it’s worth forcing myself to eat dates every day. I was enjoying them at first but now I’m getting tired of them lol. I’m 38 weeks and my doctor already told me if I don’t go in labor in two weeks he will schedule an induction 😨. Should I be concerned?

What app for the contractions?

So possibly stupid question... but how can I tell if my breastfed baby is peeing enough. Generally he is having 5 or more poopy diapers a day (he is 3 days old as of right now) do is just assume he peed as well as pooped? Because he isn’t having hardly any just wet diapers.
@MamaWearsManyHats4 жыл бұрын
You may want to just give your pediatrician a call. I thin the average is 8 diapers a day. I want to say my last was similar in the beginning. But if you are concerned, it doesn't hurt to ask :)

Why do people induce around the due date of a healthy pregnancy if, on average, moms go into labor naturally at 41 weeks plus 3 days?
