Sarajevo's main problem is fog (magla), two years ago around Christmas time there were no landings or take-offs for 5 days. An RAF pilot based at Butmir (Sarajevo) told me that even with ILS you need visual in the last few minutes of landing.

Why do aircraft have such shitty wipers? They don't even clear half the windshield and it looks like the one on the right covers a smaller arc than the one on the left.

snd977 Good question and I don't know the answer. Real pieces of junk. Imagine 737s used o have even worst, noisy like hell. (but I think someday have told me they were improved in NG series, but not so sure about it). Thanks for watching

+snd977 They're not shitty, for example if you drive you're car slow, your wipers would do a great job but if you go fast, your wipers will be just as crappy because you hit more water drops than you're wipers can take off. Now imagine what it's like for an aircraft that flies at higher speeds!

+Hossam Ismail No, they honestly suck. You could have small air inlets in the front of the plane which drive air current into the windshield. That would do part of the job, the other part would be decent wipers.
