Great review, Marc. I very nearly bought a TC1260 - lovely bat. I really liked the double camera angle view for the tap up by the way. An improvement I believe. Keep up the great work!

I used to do the two camera in the past, but switched software and couldn't sync the taps. It's something different and this video I wanted to try a few more things like gimbal footage outside and the PIP

Lovely balanced bats, handle problems are few and far between with New Balance in my experience

Good work Marc. Agreed players edition bats are not suited to the average park cricketer. Investigating a bat profile, pickup and weight suited to your game style will reap greater benefits and a far less hefty price tag $

Looks like a lovely stick but I hate the laser engraving on it. Always think it looks so tacky.

What do you prefer? The TC players edition or DC players edition?

That DC smith I did was one of my favourite bats last year, but it was rare

Should you be looking at buying Players Editions?
@guruvayurappansurianarayan8443 жыл бұрын
Not really .. agree with ur view .. pick or go after profiles that suit individual’s game / style of play rather than shelling those dollars on a player edition. Custom bats from makers like Laver and Wood , H4L, B3 etc are much better choice ( given that you get to pick ur measurements and profile).

I'm in the no camp unless it's a profile that suits your game. Most know my views on spending big dollars on bats as a waste. Does look like a nice bat and fc sondhi do know how to make their bats perform throughout their grades

Why Marc?? Unless you're a " fanboy" of Smith and wade... and you want to replicate your hero's .. then $1000+ is ridiculous for a bat.. I'd much rather buy 3 grade 3 or grade 2 willow, because of the durability... you get better value for $$ and you have 2 or 3 bats for the price of one!! Im not telling anyone how to spend their " hard earned" that's up to the individual... EBay is rife with stickers... if you really want to look like a Smith or wade.. go buy stickers online... and chuck an on a cleanskin grade 2 or 3... I'm a retro guy... DF, GM, GN, symonds tusker.. but also am partial to CA, which I have 3 of... I guess a bat is worth whatever that person is willing to pay for.. I get that... but for a grade cricketer... a players edition makes you look like a prize twat, and you'd cop a fair bit from your teammates... just saying... long winded answer as always Marc.. there's easier ways and cheaper ways to replicate your hero's equipment!

I’d rather 2 or 3 or even 4 bats then one bat , one for the nets one for the wet days and one for dry days maybe one for T20 n twilight
@CricketBatInfo3 жыл бұрын
@@thirstyrabbittanks2u191 i think for amateurs switching bats can create more harm than good to technique if they don’t feel roughly the same if you don’t use them prior to a march. Superstition maybe. I like having 3. Match bat, older bat and next bat lol

Hi bro does the wood get bad when it’s a old bad
@CricketBatInfo3 жыл бұрын
I don’t think so if its looked after, just the polish loses its sheer, waxes break down and oils darken. Generally you want to keep the moisture in the bat. once it’s gone the wood dries up and cracks. They say wood hardens, i have also heard people describe wood cells as continuing to be ‘alive’ the moisture is gone. If the wood hardens that would potentially be a good thing, but the other aspects of the bat do not age as well, the glues and rubbers for example. Those parts of the bat perish with age. If the can hardens, the handle will fail for example.

@@CricketBatInfo sir I have took a bat but I am not able to use it bcoz of lockdown in my country so what should I do to keep the moisture level in the bat I have machine knocked and taped the bat
