Amazin work, but if i want to scan a tile not a 3D , simple tile like marble on walls or floors,is it ok if take a picture from my phone then send it to substance? Or i have to use a professional one, and what about the shadow and light conditions?
@sarkamari Жыл бұрын
You can remove the shadow by delighting the photo, but your image shouldn't have any distortion

Why don't we have Invert height now ? When we import the image.
@sarkamariАй бұрын
You can invert the height of a material using specific embossing tools. The "Border Emboss Invert" and "Fill Emboss Invert" options allow you to reverse the direction of the embossed pattern’s height, essentially flipping the positive and negative values of the height map. These features are part of the embossing section, which is useful for adding depth or texture to materials, such as for creating raised or recessed details on surfaces

Where did the "Height invert" button go? I can't find it anywhere and it looks so useful
@RonMarshallrone9 ай бұрын
Same here. Not sure where it went or if the newer version just got rid of it.

could we have that tutorial for transmission objects please?

Best to deal with transmission in Adobe 3D Painter or Stager

Hi Sarkamari, I have a question a about fur material and lenticular iridescent material, so are there anyway to generate fur geomatry or adjust color changing depend on angle of view?
@sarkamari2 жыл бұрын
The look you're after can be achieved procedurally using Renderman or Arnold. I am not sure if it can be done with the current version of Substance Sampler.

Amazing channel introducing Substance products. I just bought them all and I really want to learn them all. But to me Sampler is very much the same as Painter except you can't "paint" and you can make your material out of your own picture which can be also done in Designer I guess? I feel these three softwares just have too many overlapping functions.
@sarkamari3 жыл бұрын
The workflow is the key. It allows you to use the power of smart materials and smart masks and get the best out of each app. This is something that you cannot do with keyshot. Some if the apps are still a bit slow but considering that adobe have introduced stager, modeler and sampler recently iam sure we will have an exciting times ahead 😃
