Sarmad is the true essence of a creator who can get the best out of his actors in every medium. Manto, zindagi tamasha, humsafar, shehr-e-zaat. Everything this man touches becomes gold. I wish he gets better opportunities and a wider canvas to tell more stories! All the best for Kamli. Can't wait to watch it

@mahnoorqureshi32812 жыл бұрын
@@saimahhussain7723 Where else would they release if not in Europe and America. They can't release it in Pakistan if the subject is controversial. I agree with you that anything that shows the dark side of Pakistan or is against Islam is given credit by the west. I googled and found that the movie is about a transgender. Lgbt has been normalised in the west. Movies show gay, lesbian couples as normal couples. To my surprise this trend has started in India too. I happened to watch some Indian content on Netflix. One included Maduri where a policewoman has a woman partner, another movie badhai do, which I thought would be comedy, turned out to be a promotion of LGBT. I stopped watching Zee TV production Mrs. and Mr. Shameen after 5 episodes because I didn't agree with the character Shameem, despite fabulous performance. He is shown as a man, who associated manliness, mardanagi as abusing women ,so he chose to stop being a man and adopted feminine mannerisms. Why couldn't they show him as someone who showed what real mardanagi meant while being a man. A man who is gentle with women is a real man, do not need to change gender for it. Maybe they showed him correcting himself later and his getting aids is the lesson of going against nature and Allah. If it is forbidden it is because it is harmful for humans.

I have read in Nigar Weekly that there was a time when 5 films of Anjuman came on same day of Eid and all 5 films were super hit. If Kamli is a good film no one can stop it becoming hit. It does not matter if Saba is working in 2 films in a year or 1.

Unfortunately, as for all Pakistani content, I can only watch what is available on KZbin (Unemployed Teacher in Australia). Mahira Khan has angelic beauty and appeal but other than her ability to be a good desi-girl next door-shes honestly not a very good actress. Her choice of work also reflects this- she always plays typical characters which are also not daring or rebellious anyways. In contrast, Saba always chooses bold projects, has proven her craft through various genres like comedy, drama. She even played Noor Jahan to perfection. She has been working since years for the recognition she has. Please don't compare her to Mahira. Yes- Mahira is a huge star but doesn't have the range that Saba does.
@MuhammadIrfan-bs6ku2 жыл бұрын
Saba has been in the industry since Resham was on the top and made her debut with her in geo drama Banjar back in 2007. No comparison with Mahira. She is equally good.
