My husband is a trucker and they really have to put up with so much crap. Regardless of that, he is one of the most genuine, honest, respectful and generous type of person that I've ever met. It's tough not being able to see him every day, not able to have a nice meal with people you love and not able to really get quality sleep. Yet, still, he puts up with it all and takes pride in knowing he is a huge part of making sure people in our country have essential goods to keep them alive and well. I have a lot of respect for fellow truckers and their families. Without them, non of us would be able to do the simplest things that most people take for granted. Things like going to the grocery store, whenever you feel like it, to buy food for your family. They deserve so much more respect and love, than they get in reality. Go truckers!! I'm proud of all you've done and doing.

Been working in a London UK warehouse for a couple of years. We try to treat truckers decently when they deliver the inventory we need to build the products sold by our company; usually large loads that can take an hour for us to unload and check and sign off paperwork. It blows my mind that people would treat workers in this sector poorly. Our jobs would be near impossible without that kind of service. I get it can seem like an inconvenience when, in the middle of doing something, you're required to stop and help with an offloading, but, that's not necessarily the trucker's fault; it's management who arrange the delivery times etc, and city traffic can be a bitch so of course things aren't going to necessarily happen when we want them to. In the time I've worked at the warehouse I have never come across a trucker who has been rude or has a poor attitude. They are generally pretty cordial.

Asian Mai, you do the best friggen , passion packed, interviews. Every time. I want everyone who see this, to know this is Canada (Asian) and the USA (Sasnak). I love so much that you are Asian thank you. I spent 23 - 24 days, start to finish, in Canada and I fell in love with the people, and you are very much a part of what hooked me, and Pat King, Ottawalks, Tanner/tireroasters garage, Kevin, so many more truckers, and those who came to donate, like the Polish ladies and their donuts, bread and so much more, those who spoke to the cameras and touched us..... Thank you, thank you, for coming over to the US and doing the excellent job that you do. You're wonderful.

Hey I just wanted to send my love to Sasnak and yes we've been watching this from Germany. My dad started out as a mechanic in the US Army and he tought me to respect every blue collar worker, so I have always had lots of respect for truckdrivers. I'm so sorry about how people have treated you and at the same time I feel honored that you guys and gals have decided to defend our freedom. I think kids growing up now witnessing this will all wanna become truckers. Europe stands with you and with all volunteers who support you 💪💪💪🙏🤗🇩🇪🇺🇸🇨🇦❤❤❤

Hats off to you Sasnak and other truckers. I have a small truck parking business. The horror stories I have heard are truly horrible and unacceptable. I run a clean, well organized, locked down/safe business trying to help ya'll out. Been trying to expand for about 6 years. Officials every where won't allow us to expand. They don't want you on the road, don't want you to park anywhere, and tax ya'll to death and all kinds of mandatory fees. Our business is here trying to help and we get blocked at all angles. Most of the other places that are allowed around here are slummy. We went to Indianapolis to cheer ya on :) Nice truck btw!
@iseektruth642 жыл бұрын
I suspect they are trying to make things as difficult as possible for truckers so they'll be glad to give it all up to make way for the driverless trucks that they are working night and day to roll out! When the peasants revolt, just replace them with machines...! I think that's the plan... There are machines now that run whole fast food restaurants...
@debdo19602 жыл бұрын
@@iseektruth64 could be as you say. Officials claim trucks ruin the roads....are noisy.....go too slow.....and other BS stories. Nothing surprises me. These truckers deserve better. Many of their trucks are run on satellite and shut off automatically around 10 or 11 hours with a 10 minute warning. They are not allowed to park in parking lots such as Walmart. Even the closed down weigh stations around here are off limits. The rest areas are dangerous as well as high theft places. One of our drivers had his gas stolen while he was sleeping in his truck. We heard one trucker tell us he went home briefly and the next morning, the front end of his truck was disassembled and the engine stolen on his brand new truck! 😥🤬 Most of these drivers have families that they want to see between runs and on weekends with the assurance their investment isn't vandalized or parts stolen. In almost 13 years, we haven't had one incident. We provide separate parking for their private vehicles. A grade a porta potty cleaned weekly and stocked with tp and hand sanitizer (locked so outsiders can't use it...they all have keys). We have a garbage bin....bright lighting....snow plowed....electrical use in the winter.....and a guard that is better than a junk yard dog that surveilles the property 24/7 (we live on the property). Plus...it's fenced in and it's locked down. No entry without the key! It's kept clean and orderly. We have VERY strict rules. We have a waiting list cuz no one wants to leave. We know who's on the property at all times. No visitors allowed. We pride ourselves in running a good services for our truckers....we love 'em and they deserve it! The problem with officials is there isn't big money in truck parking for them. If they were able to put up 100 condos here, they would make tons more money than the 100k a year on this street. Trust me....it's been brought to my attention. Basically it's about the money.
@CONTAINERMAN682 жыл бұрын
@@debdo1960 Grade a Porta potty? Really? That right there makes us drivers think no one cares about us! Depending on your location, imagine using a porta a potty when it's zero or below outside? Or even if it's 100 outside! Look into buying a porta a potty built into a trailer. Or better yet, build a actual building with a restroom inside! Geez!
@debdo19602 жыл бұрын
@@CONTAINERMAN68 can't build on this property. I agree that porta potties aren't the greatest, especially in the winter, but it beats having piles of crap between trucks. We hooked it up to our septic tank. We clean it thoroughly every week and keep it stocked. The truckers here like it and tell us it's the nicest one they have seen. Nothing worse than getting out of your truck and stepping on a pile of crap. I only wish officials would let me build on this property!
@CONTAINERMAN682 жыл бұрын
@@debdo1960 If you can't build, there are companies building restrooms in trailers! They are heated and have a pee trough and 4 or more toilets in them. Some even have showers in them. They are made on a 2 or 3 axle ball hitch trailer. Events have them. Showers would boost your parking lot up. Truckers would have to provide themselves with amenities!
