Of course she’s going to be rude, she’s the queen of hell. Despite all that though, she isn’t avoiding contact with him, she cares about him and her daughter. She let her daughter hang out with her dad, I wouldn’t call that a divorce. Lucia is just a really busy woman, she is, once again, the queen of hell. Plus, Lucia is a demon, the queen at that, so it would be obvious that Dave has a demon for a wife if they hung out in public. Satina on the other hand, looks like a sunburnt child to the people in this show. The people may be stupid, but if they see a 60ft red woman rise up out of the ground, it’d be kind of obvious that it’s a demon. They can’t hang out in hell for long either because of the scorching heat Dave would feel. She tries her best to hang out with Dave despite the limitations, so no, I wouldn’t call it a divorce, more like a long distance relationship.

Y'know what? I appreciate how realistically Dave was written. We've only gotten to see this lad deal with his brutally insane-yet-mundane life for one episode so far and I can already, like. Actually picture him existing in the real world! With all the difficult influences in his life, it's no wonder he's not the greatest/most intuitive dad for Satina! He's not just constantly unstoppably happy and supportive, because that's not what a man in his shoes/in his LIFE would probably be: he's learning lessons one at a time, just like Satina, and experiencing both the good and the bad, the mistakes and successes, that come with that.
