The roof rack has to stay matches the look of the truck Some buddies and I were digging thru some crustys square bodys couple years ago in the woods one guy went to grab weather stripping off a dash and it was a black snake lmao he screamed like he saw a T-rex 😂 we were cracking up!!!!

Truck is awesome. Little fiberglass will fix that wing right up. Also Definitely keep the roof rack. It goes with the vibe of the truck and ties the front visor, chicken chasers and rear wing together

Keep the roof rack, also those running boards are also keepers, they only put those on a select few trucks.. l had a charcoal gray dually truck with the same dealership conversion except l didn't have the roof rack. That isn't a customer aftermarket custom add-on all those goodies were on it when the first person drove it off the lot when it was new.. the boards, the rack, the spoiler, grill guard and pinstripes.. that thing is an awesome find and is a lot more to it than meets the eye.

That thing is gorgeous! I’d leave the roof rack and all the accessories on it. Duramax and 4L80 combo! The Chevy vans had a 4L80 variant behind a duramax. If you go Alison you’d have to body lift it or cut the trans tunnel to make it fit, better to keep that sweetheart uncut.

check out indo 500 its degreaser and cleaner, i use it on my work trucks and my mega cab doesnt hurt paint its industrial cleaner, and indo 400 for aluminum . they are both a liquid , but for paste aluminum cleaner try Autosol metal polish. nice truck. there is the identical truck 30 mins from my house the lady hasent wanted to part with , identical lol ! im going to try again its been 10 years since ive asked ,
