Great, thorough review, Ross. The whole Limited Run PS4 list…. Most folks know the obvious standouts; but a couple hidden gems that I’m very fond of: Effie (339), Brigandine: Legend of Runersia (368), and Night Book (454). My very favorite is Firewatch (32) - no hidden gem, its greatness is pretty well recognized.

Thanks, The only one of them I have played is Firewatch and I loved it. Going to be the first one that comes up that I will play an alternative version of for comparison. I really enjoyed Lili, knights and bikes, musynx and absolute drift too.

I was surprised by this one. Genuinely thought it was going to be pretty bad when I first loaded it up, but it got its hooks into me. I have got the platinum already on Oxenfree so thats going to be one I need to play an alternative version of. Did really enjoy it though. I cant remember the name of the game they made after but it was on game pass and i forgot to give it a go.

Yeah, its just made to trigger some nostalgia button in your brain. It works mainly because its short too. I dont think they could have stretched it out to a full on RPG length on references alone.

It really is weird looking. I think it would have been better as entirely 2d but I guess that would have been a lot more work

@@GenerationPixel Yeah 90 is a tad steep for what it is, but if I see it cheap on ps4 I'll let you know. I do have it on switch and doubt I'll ever play it but I guess your not looking for it on there lol.

Never heard of the game or The history behind it, I do like a good turned based rpg, Thanks for playing this on my radar, I like the concept, Not sure about the art style though, Definitely sounds Eastern but due if this is one I want to pick up, Great review you've given me a lot to think about thanks mate

Yeah the art style really didn't work for me at the start. It may have just grew on me like Stockholm syndrome though haha. If you can find it cheap i'd def say give it a go, but dont go forking out what they are asking for most versions.
