Hey, it worked for that Jason Momoa sketch where Jason comes back after being stranded on an island for years. Only here, there's no fear that Chloe (Fineman, not Troast) is getting tossed around like a ragdoll. She and Jacob might fall, but it's not that dangerous. Also, I think Marcello Hernandez could have co-wrote this, since he's probably had issues with getting women because of his height. There was a Weekend Update commentary on it.

Not really. I mean, the average man is under 6 feet, and the average man has a partner, so. Yeah, not really all that accurate. The problem is, a lot of men go for women who tend to have very specific....personalities and physical appearances that make them the type of people to only want someone "over 6 feet". Whilst overlooking women who are pretty or average, who have great personalities and don't care about height. This ultimately makes these men guilty of the same thing they accuse women of; being vain and shallow, only caring about physical appearence. Average men want the physically most beautiful women, but those beautiful women want the physically most beautiful men. So average men feel like ALL women just want ridiculously tall guys and average women feel like ALL men want super models; because they're both judging the entire other gender based on the preferences of the most beautiful people. It's a vicious cycle.

While there's truth in your statement you're either overlooking or not realizing the social pressure women put on each other the way they compete with each other for vain things like shoes and purses so then their choices in men become about their status and men are treated more like accessory shopping than finding who's right for them. This is more prevalent for those who grew up with a smart phone I've noticed, they're just overall dumber in every way 😂 lots of knowledge but no wisdom on what to do with any of it except again use it like an accessory to make themselves look good lol

Tall women. Being a tall woman with a shorter or average height guy is still seen as odd or weird. It's funny how people talk about how women want taller guys, and never question why these tall guys want short women?
@nawdude429210 ай бұрын
Yes turn it around and find blame with men. The statistics show guys are willing to date a greater range of heights including taller than them much much more than women willing to date even their own fkin height SMH. But yeah, guys suck right smh

Why is "body shaming" unacceptable if it regards being overweight, but perfectly acceptable and even a source of humor if it regards a man's height? For short men, we endure teasing about our height from early childhood onward, and being frequently rejected by prospective girlfriends simply because we are short. The psychological scars this leaves on us are nothing to be laughed at.

I think this skit is meant to make fun of and satirize women’s standards and how they are more likely to pick a tall loser over pretty much any short man. If anything, I think it draws awareness to how brutal it is for short men in the dating market. Sometimes satire is the best way to do that. Also, the skit was written by Marcello Hernandez, who plays one of the “short kings” in the skit.

While I get what you're saying, it was written by Marcello (tiny Teddy), we saw him at the imrpov last night and the short king things is always part of his comedy. It's satire, not meant to be hurtful. My dad is 5 foot 5 and he was laughing his ass off (my mom is like 5 9 and it's never been an issue for them) - you just gotta find the right person and have a positive mindset. 😂 This is pretty much the dating scene now in big coastal cities. Only the cut off is 6’, not 5’8”. The smaller the woman the more a guy’s height is important as well. There’s going to be a huge spinster community in 10 years because many women can’t get over it. Of course men are picky now as well. Have fun!
@jasonb20894 ай бұрын
I've noticed this being on the apps in a coastal city. I'm 5'7 and most of the women who "like" me first are 5'6-5'9. Just my experience of course, but super interesting how medium height to slightly tall women seem to care less about height.
@mottopanukeiku74064 ай бұрын
@@jasonb2089 Yes, most smaller or average height guys will do just fine if they don’t completely depend on dating apps. It just seems to reduce the dating pool a bit.
