I know I'm not the first to say how well Billie did acting in her sketches, but honestly, her timing, delivery, expressions...she's a natural. I genuinely hope that she continues to kick ass in whatever direction she wants to go. Love her!!
@luka-ft3ij2 жыл бұрын
her mother was an actor, so she probably learned a lot from her!
@jbound682 жыл бұрын
@@luka-ft3ij True...no doubt she learned a lot from her mother. But she did things that you just can't teach someone when it comes to acting. You can tell 10 different actors to "look confused," and every single one of them will do it differently based upon what they've been taught. But only 1 or 2 of them will do it in a way that is authentically and genuinely convincing because they just have a knack for it, and that's something that's just inside of you...it can't be taught. And Billie definitely seems to have that innate ability, which really isn't that surprising. She's just a wonderful, masterful performer all-around. I hope she hosts SNL again! And again and again and again...LoL. I'd love to see her become a member of the 5-timers club someday!!

Yah thats a Marilyn Monroe only thing, the Transatlantic accent is made up unless you mean the over the top "gimme to yah shuga, I ought to hope you know youar wrooang!" with all the municipals of the O sound and jerky accenting on certain words, yah that the movie accent, but what your calling transatlantic, is how everyone spoke in some variation. @@nightmaster6381 Why am I not allowed to be hype for black Santa? Is it because I'm white? Are white people not allowed to be hype when black people get to play traditionally white fictional characters? John Green wrote the world's largest collection of black Santas into his book, and he's so white he's clear. How come he gets to hype a world record-number of black Santas but I'm not allowed to hype one?

@@Notimp0rtant523 I find it funny it's a kinda controversy here ... black Santas. I'm from the islands. Our santas are just people like us and we grew up with that ... that's the case in all brown/black countries. So for that to be an issue in the US is just so effin lame. Like GROW UP USA !!!

@@Notimp0rtant523 There is nothing wrong with a black santa hypothetically. But since it is a well established fact that there is no such thing as santa, it's only fair and equal to deny black Santa's existence too. Let me guess - you think Frosty the Snowman is sexist and should be a Snowwoman. And also not white somehow.....

In her last album Happier than ever.. the “ Billie bossa nova” song is amazing to be an many others .. it’s her style classic, hip hop and electro pop. She is old and modern at the same times and it’s not easy to be anti pop artist like this .. minimal music and with so many genres experimenting and her unique voice .. she is changing pop music .. so give her time she is the youngest there with this success .. her sound is a dreamy sound and it’s unique in music history. But wait.. bc this girl has a huge potential for jazz style we will see her when she will be 30 …

So i suggest you listen to these 2 acoustic performances of Billie: a Christmas song at the end of the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWfCiYqKYtKjgtk ... and this one written and produced by them: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iouzaWtrgL92qrM I recommend putting on headphones for her acoustic live shows bc her vocal is AMAZING and in her last album as well.

That may be the most on-key and on-time musical comedy performance in the show's history, as far as Billie goes. She is so good you can hear her laugh and break just slightly and yet she does not miss a single beat. She is wildly talented. Bonus points to costume department. And of course the whole thing was composed and orchestrated within three days and the band sounds like they've known it for years.
