All the love for John. Finally living life as it's meant to be, family and friends. Still working hard also though. Good stuff. Love to see it. The demons of certain substances catch to many of us off guard, we just need to be helpyful and supportive with people around you getting away from that. Words are one thing, words can feel useless(as an alcoholic myself). Being a person to take the time to hang out and give a person a time or reason to stay away from those things are much more effective. Words of support don't mean much sadly. it's a nice ... gratitude. But then that person goes back alone to their place and their mind, and gets about to using again. It's not monitoring them... it's just hanging out and giving a reason to do something else, something better, instead of delving into that pit alone.

For all of the red pill comedians wondering why his joke about his half-asian wife being short is funny; it's because it comes from a place of love. When you say that Puerto Rico is a pile of garbage, on the same stage where serious politicians are saying that they want to deport anyone who isn't white, that comes from a place of hate. John Mulaney is a man of class, watch him and you'll learn something. Also, John Mulaney, I'm your super fan, I love you so much. I was hooked the first time I heard your "whats new p-word cat'" special on comedy central. I then became more obsessed with you when I learned that we both had addiction problems for the same thing at around the same time. But then I heard that you were dating Olivia Munn, and I just want you to know that I know a doctor who is willing to take your face off, and replace it with my face ... off. It's totally legit, trust me bro. Iisten. My father was a catholic, but he was an Italian catholic. You can trust me.

As a 20yo unemployed student it's so lame and STUPID to be this petty over such a silly thing
@kirineo666M28 күн бұрын
o wow! someone is using a silly stereotype for comedy! something comedians are known for! .....if Jimmy O. had said something like that about his mom no one would bat an eye, shut up

Wow, and I thought I was young to have my hip replaced at 56. But, so glad I did. Easy as can be and improved my quality of life immeasurably.

How did that happen? My hip hurts. I'm 58. How do you get a new one? My Dr isn't on board with it.

I’m not normally a fan of his but I always watch his work, and I think this monologue was one I could get on board 1:33 with the whole thing. Looking forward to continuing to see his work expand. 😊

I get that comedians get their material from real life experiences, but dammit, everytime a comedian starts riffing about their kids, their comedy gradually gets worse. I wouldn't bring my kids up, I don't want them to grow up hating me, and Bernie Mac's the only one to make it funny.

Every season John hosts it's always 50 times better than every other SNL. Because he can write and is genuinely funny.

She deserved them. He did how many bits about her, she was the one who had to put up with his relapses and then he just dumped her when he got completely sober, not even wanting to work on the relationship.

My Chinese mother overheard me watching this video and said, “I don’t think he’ll last very long in that Asian family. He’s such a crazy white guy. I don’t know why that Chinese-Vietnamese mother let her daughter marry him in the first place.” And I said, “well his wife is in her 40s, she’s a grown ass woman she can do whatever she wants.” And my mom said, “oh that’s why, she’s in her 40s, just marry anyone. Marry this crazy white guy for 5 years and then divorce him.” Now my father was white, so I think these comments are less directed at John Mulaney… and more a reflection of personal experience. But it’s funny to see her projecting all that onto this tall child.
