When it was broadcast, I didn’t understand that much but watched it sometimes, I found it boring but sometimes it broke my heart when listening to other's stories,couldn’t tolerate it. These things happened when I was 11/12 years old. But now when I remember it I feel this was a gem. Now I find it was ahead of its time show. This type of show is so relatable now and how it shows reality which often breaks heart. Hats off to Amir khan who host the show.

As a 7 year old i didn't really understand the point of this show when my grandmother used to watch it on Sunday mornings. Now that I look back on it, there has never been a show on indian television which tried to make this kind of significant impact. Aamir Khan had a really good vision for this show, but we all know that it would never last today. Still i really wish it would start again though.

Rambabu ji is absolutely correct. when my mother conceived baby for the second time,my dadi took her to hospital for getting a sonography,and a/c to that sonography my mother was having my baby sister and after that all the family member mainly my grandmother and my bua manipulated my father in such a way that he was ready to go for abortion but my mother is so brave that after huge and huge fight with my father,she saved my sibling, went to my nani house and decided that now she will raise both her daughter by herself ,through out the pregnancy my family not even a single time visited my mother or talked to her not even my father...on 20 dec 2003 my baby brother came in the world and when my nani called my dadi..she was not even picking the telephone then my dadaji got the news and then the very next they came to visit my baby brother.....such a double standard thing done by her.. .They all were in surpise that how is it possible..... I think my father never wanted that a boy /girl what he wanted is just to be a father but he loves her mother a lot her constant manipulation leaded to stressful pregnancy of my mother..... initially she was not liking by birth but after my brother she started liking me a bit.....

From my father side close relatives means , his brother ,who r my chacha's. We are 7 cousins And only 2 r boys.. But though my father's side belong to village, they r so much good , that they do not see any difference, always say that, humari chidiya bade hokar, officer ya koi bhi baada banengi....

What a great show, creating awareness about female foeticide. I used to think it was more prevalent in villages and uneducated people, it is unbelievable that educated and well off people are doing it as well. I mean, what good is the education and money for, if you are still going to behave like a criminal. Thanks Aamir, for doing shows like this.

I don't know where to start my salutes. The mothers who go through hell and back to have their daughters, the people who support the cause of ending female foeticide, the people striving to shed some light into the cause, this show, Aamir Khan- You all deserve a grand salute from the rest of us citizens who mostly do nothing, just watch the show and comment on how great it is and how great the cause is

Speechless ! I suggest fathers of daughters to give a video feedback to this show, and let those men know, what a blessing a daughter actually is, I wish AK Sahib would have added one such father's point of view. Also I think the ice on the cake would have been if a interview of such a father was added who wanted an abortion, but the daughter survived and how he fell in love with that daughter later and regretted his intention. Hats off AK Sahib
