During my engineering days, I started taking tuition classes to reduce the financial burden on my parents. I preferred home tuition with more students. Luckily, I found a joint family where I need to tutor 4 students. 4th, 7th,8th and 12th. The only 7th class was the boy student and rest were girls. They developed good confidence in me. One day 8th class student started rubbing my leg with her leg while showing her homework. I moved my leg far and asked her to go back to her place. After some time she told me sorry with tears in her eyes. I explained to her how to balance her emotions. I did not judge her or belittled her. She started discussing her challenges in life. Gradually her focus increased and she started performing well in studies and became more confident in life. I would like to thank my father who showed me how to responsible in this world. We need a responsible society today. This is one of the experiences that I am sharing and would like to thank Amir bhi and 'Satyameva Jayathe' team for such a great work you all are doing. When I see this episode, tears run down my cheeks. My cousin brother who was 20 yrs sexually abused me when I was 12 yrs. I would pray to God everyday that today I should escape him. He mixed a drug in a juice and gave it to me saying his friend had got the juice from abroad. And when I was asleep under the effect of the drug, he did his dirty act. In the middle of the night, I woke up feeling funny and saw him sleeping next to me and doing this. I froze and don't know how long this went on. I felt myself dying that day, I was out of my body and looking at what was happening to my body with no feeling. It was like I was a dead body. My innocence was brutally murdered. He continued abusing me sexually in many ways and I was so scared of him. Didn't know if anybody would believe me if I spoke about it. I was scared if nobody believed and he came to know and did something worse like rape me or kill me. I am 42 and to this day I am scarred and afraid of most men.

OMG! While watching this episode I just recall that this happened with me too. Twice. By 2 different people. Both were relatives. I was that small that I even don't know that something bad is happening with me. Thanks to my mother. Since childhood she told us to tell her everything that's happening throughout the days. It was my daily routine. When this thing happened with me I told her even about my child abuse. At first, I wasn't sure if I should tell her or not? Whether she'll believe me or not?? But then I remembered, she always said that *I am your best friend. No matter the whole world won't believe you. I know this show went out a long time ago but I am just watching it today (with subtitles) I am an Irish woman, my children are all adults now and only 2 weeks ago... I finally put my childhood abuser in prison. The heartache over the years and the fear, were what kept me from reporting him. He was a relative (though not a blood relative) and sexually abused me in the most horrific ways from the age of 5 years old until about 9 years old. I encourage every parent to be very careful about who is taking care of their children. I encourage every woman and man considering marriage to truly find out EVERYTHING about the person they are thinking of marrying. Childhood rape is so completely soul destroying and the effects last for many many years and also distort functional emotional development throughout life. Back at time when i watched it on TV it gave me courage to say no to my abuser who made my life like a living hell thankyou 'satyamev jayate ' for giving me the strength to say no and slap on the face of that motherf....ker. Thanks to amir sir who brought this show on TV at that point of my life when i was about to giveup in life.

After listening to this episode I was teary eyed and had no words to say but people avoid this topic from discussing. the songs which are meaningless are getting millions of views and likes but the shows like satyamev jayate are not getting this. This means we don't want improvement. please share because lacs of children whose childhood which will never come again is destroyed due to these evil minds of people can discuss there problem and save the childhood of others. if this happens with you don't feel guilty it's not your mistake. for parents I would only say that beleave your children and tell them that they can share every thing of their life with them and don't feel ashamed while telling children about it but feel proud that you are aware and now you are going to make your children also aware about it. at the end a salute to these people who told and discussed about there lives and the problem they faced because every one can't do it. now no words to say. thankyou

There are strict laws in India regarding child and women protection. The main problem lies with the family and society who try to silence people speaking up against such abuse and the subsequent ostracism and harrassment that follows - which unfortunately is pretty common all over the world, particularly in Asian countries where societies are more conservative. It's the mentality of the people that has to change.

I was 5 ..... he is my brother(and his friend). who was 14 .... now I am 24 Melancholic Depressed Suicidal Constant anxiety Adhd Addicted to drugs Sexually confused I might have been a abuser in some other's life .... but I could never did the things that my abusers had done to me ...at that age I thought it was a normal game to play with other boys .... I am ashamed of my actions. I didn't know any better Can't trust anyone. I can't show my true emotions to anyone .I just act according to the situation ..... like fake till you make it ...... I can't feel true emotions ... except for drowning pain and suffering .... I am a guy.
