If I were to thank people of Saudi Arabia, I think it wud take me a decade of constant thankfulness. Above all I thank Allah for having given me the opportunity to work in Saudi Arabia for about 13 years. Allah fulfilled my dream and Saudis helped me to realise it. The support I have got, the love they have showered on me will always be in my heart. Of the best traits I love from their culture was to respect the women. A fast moving car wud stop suddenly upon seeing a woman aiming to cross the road. In the banks and shopping malls women won't have to wait. I am just trying to imbibe that trait in me and many others like kissing an elder on his forehead. God! Thankyou so much for providing me with a chance to serve Saudi Arabia. I will always pray for wellbeing of Saudis wherever I am.

I worked in saudi Arabia from 1980 to 85 for a British firm. During that tenure I visited Riyadh , Jeddah , my compan was in KKMC near Hafar Albatin and later I worked at Yanpet near Yanbu . Riyadh is beautiful city and at present it is changed a lot .

I was there in 2008-9 and I am glad that things do not seem to have changed that drastically. What I saw in this beautiful video still reminded me of the wonderful city that I loved so much when I was there. I wish that you had shown us TAHLIA street which, to me, is the most wonderful street in the world and to which I refer as the Champs Elysees of Riyadh. This is the city where I spent the most beautiful, peaceful, and blissful seven months of my life and it is the city that will forever stay in my heart as my BELOVED Riyadh. Thank you for bringing back some of those pleasant memories.

I just came from Riyadh, it is a beautiful city, it's main disadvantage,the city it seems is not designed for pedestrians. Saudi is full places to visit. I highly recommend it.

Finally a nice video without prejudice and unnecessary comments! I really enjoy Riyadh and other cities in KSA where I have been so far: Jeddah, Makkah, Abha. All Saudi's are super-friendly, welcoming and the country is very very safe. Food is inexpensive and lovely, whether in restaurants where Saudi food is served or in Turkish, Lebanese or Indian restaurants. Let me also comment, that mainly in the big cities, shops are not always closing during prayer-time anymore, not all women wear face-covering garments anymore and Saudi's know how to party in their own special way; friendship really has a meaning here, you will never feel alone! I could go on for quite some time here, but maybe I just should make my own video soon! All the best!

I'm American who grew up in Riyadh, from 1981-1985. It looks so much like Las Vegas now! The traffic looks that it's improved. But always the people are so friendly and welcoming. I'm very grateful I got to live there as a civilian and had so many friends from all around the world!

WoW.. So many things changed since the 80s till 90s and the next phase was almost in 2000s ..and the boost of such changes will be easliy noticed from 2016 till now..social changes are remarkable over there (positive way) in the last 5 years, including laws and regulations. openning up for tourism..code dress got flexi in line with the changes we live everday. Future ahead is so promising and is thriving more and more toward achiveing the goals of MBS 2030 vision. It is the land of opportunities in the next 10 years

@@juliaaass The man has the power julia hhh😂 I feel sorry for men in u countries But overall saudi women have good education, health insurance, jobs opportunities also entertainment And The saudi goverment has left all restrictions that was put on women, They have way more freedom than past, And if u ask saudi women they will answer u that they are happy Many things have changed in fovour of women than past, dont worry about them, they are happy

@@juliaaass Hi julia, iam actualy not saudi, iam egyptian but i was born and raised in saudi arabia so i know well about saudi community, I wanna say u have to accept there are many nations around world with different cultures and customs and beliefs, and women rule in the society differ According to the society traditions, i think japan, korea, china, india pakistan and some african countries also have the same look toward women like middle east, WE dont have to be a copy from the western nations, Regards and have a good day
