I watched this in the theater with my wife, and it was a bizarre experience. The theater was torn between the holy sh*t, jaws on the floor shock, and the abdominal cramping from laughing so hard. 😂 Definitely the wildest animated movie I’ve ever seen.

I love this movie, the puns, the deeper references, all of it. Is it wrong that I wanted the kitchen segment to go longer? Just the reactions of myth vs reality (They're eating children!) was both sick and hilarious. I remember when it first came out reading stories on Reddit or Not Always Working where ticket sellers and ushers tried to warn parents it is NOT a kids movie. Some listened but in more than a few accounts the parents did the "Don't be stupid, all animated movies are kids movies" .... then they'd be running out ten minutes after it started demanding money back.
