SAVAGE Striped Bass Fishing on NJ Beach!

Incredible day of surfcasting on the beach in New Jersey this fall! Found the birds diving and giant schools of bait and striped bass and it was game on from there! These fish were fired up and feeding all day long, had to leave them biting that day! The fall run this year was incredible and there are still fish to be caught!

This fall was just ridiculous dude. Land or open water. Awesome seeing you in the spring when I was in the kayak and you on the boat. I was having 40” bass on the surf in early December man. Can’t ask for a better season like this one. Best I have seen for sure.

Is that a stradic reel? How do do you find it in the surf? Does it hold up to the salt splashes? Was looking on getting a lighter like the stradic.

It is a stradic, havent used it much in the surf. Maybe 3 times, I was in between getting a new surf reel at the time. Wouldnt be my first option for a surf reel, probably better off with the spheros.
