I was hoping that Mark would drop the act by at least the 8-minute mark, but Jack's "you fucking asshole" gave me a genuine chuckle. Wish Jack had more opportunities to talk because I do genuinely want his opinion (e.g., on how this car would look a couple years down the line as a used grab). Because of the goofing, I feel I have to watch another review to get a fuller picture.

Good thing I searched up reviews before the marketing material. After 3K miles, I can comfortably say that it’s its an excellent daily driver and very comfortable, though I must specify that I’m down in Florida, so I don’t have to deal with a lot of the cold-related issues others do where vehicles like this are concerned.

I am not an EV guy, But I like money. Work offers free charging. If I found an EV for $0 down and sub $250 a month, that's what I spend on gas to get to work. Free car! What about insurance? Well my Blackwing as a DD, $2150 a year. Grundy would allow it as a collector policy for $350 only if I added another DD-an EV like this was $1800. Free car. I managed to get an AWD SEL this weekend, $50,350 MRP for $239 a month, $0 down(+plates since I had none to transfer), 12k miles a year. This thing is nicer, faster, handles better than it needed it to be for the appliance I asked it to be. Free maintenance and free charging at Electrify America. So many rebates on a home charger install-that was free too. They said the days of cheap leases were gone. Well, this car is the exception. I am not an SUV guy, if you hate the way this looks, I sent two friends to the same dealer for an Ioniq 5 SEL AWD which was the same deal but for $281 a month.

UK viewer here, of all your videos this one cracked me up the most!!!!! I've driven the Ioniq 6 and was relatively impressed. We need a family EV purchased through the company but the biggest issue with most of the GIMP platforms is the lack of boot/trunk space for a family. We set out wanting to buy a top spec Ioniq 5, we were impressed but did not like a few elements and the lack of boot/trunk space. Also get good fleet terms on the Lexus RX but your video confirmed my suspicions! So what are we probably going to buy, a year old Jaguar I Pace for less than the new price of a top spec Ioniq. Yes its an older platform, but the driving dynamics, quality of the interior and the boot/trunk space are actually superior, range is also `OK ish. Also the Ian Callum Styling has aged well. Charging solely at home overnight at 7.5KW so the 100KW limit seems largely irrelevant. The money we save on local journeys will help to fuel a couple of other V8's we have..... 🙂

I mean, we get it, Hyundai's marketing videos are cringe-worthy trash, but I don't come to SG for marketing material reviews. Totally and utterly okay."

These guys always nail it, especially when it comes to culture alongside a car. I for one, will always want to engage with my car in the tactile driving experiences , but for many in the younger gen, cars are a burden of financial necessity that are almost becoming non-sequitur to their everyday personas and routines. We may giggle at the rideshare comment, but that alone is a worrying truth that is coming to fruition. Buying or leasing a car, spending $50K on a depreciating asset where many people will find it to be an appliance that has no emotion is a tough reality, and now that we as a society are immersed in a new world of AI and virtual realities of our own making, cars fitting into that realm remains a "?" in new ways we've barely tapped into. We may laugh at this video, but for many, this is the new "normal" when it comes to modern mobility. Mark and Jack make it clear that automakers and the driving public simultaneously do and do not know where our priorities really are.
