Sorry about your wifes delay. I do think the badlands with the 2.0 and tvd will fix most of my issues with this car. This was Ford's plan all long and the real cash cow, they made the real Bronco to not piss off the enthusiasts and to give them the excuse to build this escape based version.

Thanks, I love your reviews. This reminds me of an updated original gen 2003-2007 Escape/Tribute. It's more boxy, upright and off road capable. You get back a opening rear glass and more space. We owned a 2003 Mazda Tribute ES AWD & V-6. It was a good CUV and traded it for a 2015 CX-5 GT at 168,000 miles. I'd much rather buy this than the Escape and I'd only get the 2.0 4 cylinder engine. It still doesn't have 40/20/40 split rear seats which I like on the CX-5 and I don't think it will be as reliable. Thanks again.

You didn't mention it but in my opinion you have to compare it to the Crosstrek. Those are super slow but you don't seem to complain about that as much on that one. I am potentially looking at one for my wife but it would definitely be the Bad Lands edition with the better engine.

Three cylinder “sport”? Whaaaa...? The title Sport has come to mean economy with doodads. There’s nothing sporty about that. Considering that Ford stopped making cars to concentrate in SUVs and trucks, they could have done *much* better.

The term "sport" is used to sell an upscaled econobox with little to no alterations in driveline, suspension, and brakes to people who know nothing about cars.
@dsugioaga3 жыл бұрын
Just a couple of thoughts: 1. The number of cylinders does not indicate whether a vehicle is sporty or not. A small, lightweight vehicle with a 3-cylinder can certainly be more sporty/fun to drive than a 500 hp SUV... 2. "Sport" doesn't mean anything in the automotive world. There are many vehicles with that moniker... 3. SUVs generally aren't sporty... they're just fast. There's only so much you can do to disguise size, weight and center of gravity...
@tim31723 жыл бұрын
"Has come to mean." This message coming to you from the 1995 Wrangler "Sport" (aka base model). 1997 Montero "Sport" (smaller, economy model of Montero) 2004 Outlander "Sport" (smaller, economy model of Outlander) You're about 20 years behind on your comment...

Cool little SUV! But, what's the deal with the rust in some of the parts of this new vehicle?
@colechapman69763 жыл бұрын
I really do love this Bronco and would get it over the more expensive Defender. It offers just as much character and cool-ness as the Defender but it just looks nicer at a cheaper price. It's just a very distinctive car and I really appreciate Ford for creating a boxy SUV while all the other SUVs are curved and made in a wind tunnel. I think they really did a great job and looking at other crossovers SUVs like the CRV or RAV4, I think this is the only one that I would be excited to buy since it looks exciting and it seems to have more of a soul.
@Bahistapoakoeh Жыл бұрын
Comparing this to a Defender? Are you referring to the bigger Bronco? This is the Bronco Sport, a CUV who has nothing on common with a Defender aside from being a bit boxy lmao

Funny how this review has such impeccable timing because a brand new bronco got towed into a pep boys I work at. 92 miles on it and the rims were fucked up, the tires were shredded, the sensors inside the tires were all ruined amongst other things. and the fact he brought a brand new bronco to a pep boys of all places🤣🤣. It smelled nice at least.
