I had 2 sister bengal/snow leopard, lived for 17 and 19 years, 1 was so shy it took my 5 years for complete trust, absolutely amazing Pets extremely vocal and challenging and playful, loving friendly, 1 taught the grand kids how to stroke her which was amazing, I miss them dearly, You get what You put in with them. Spot on advice, my 18yr old Bengal passed away a few weeks ago and I now have a Savannah kitten, very different personalities but both fantastic cats to live with.

I took in a mom cat who was pregnant and already had kittens by her side. I took the pregnant mom and her daughter kitten in so I could foster the Queen while she had kittens. Here the mom had 8 kittens…. Three weeks later the kitten had her own clutch of 5 kittens… WTH!!!! Now I have 15 felines in my house. Only to find out the spotting on their bellies lead me to believe they are all savanna’s I’m screwed now because the domestic animal services have temporarily stoped taking in cats:

Yes my cat that seems to be a Bengal/Savannah mix has a sense of humor. I was cleaning his litter box and he jumped up on a table above it, turned his back to me and starting wacking me in the head with his tail. He also understand the word ''tail'' and know what it is.

Yeah lots say savannah are better than Bengal but lets not forget cost of buying and ownership so pound for pound Bengals are a fantastic option.

I have two Bengals, male and female. My male is a Snow Bengal and the female is the one that glistens in the sun and has rosets unlike the male with cheeata print. Wish we could post pics here. My male is the social one but only let's me touch him, he comes up on my bed and demands that I have to give him love and stroks, hes very very vocal and almost sounds like he's saying Leeann, now Leeann. I finally found a vet that was willing to try and trim their nails and it was a total success. I can do the females but A DEFINITE NO on the males. At one point had such long nails that I would say Fready Kruger had nothing in him and when he walked he would make a tick tick sound on the hardwood floors. The vet still says that he behaved especially well being a liability that the Bengal breed is ( F4 )

Savannah cats can be calm and have energy but prefer hanging out with you over playing. Whoever is putting this down doesn’t know very much about Savannah cats and it depends on the generation! They can jump high but are agile and really stealthy. They are very good at getting around things and not being destructive. Siemese are actually a lot crazier and have a lot more guts in their energy. Whoever is putting this doesn’t know that much. Savannah cats like water too a little

Every time I read someone’s bad experiences with bengals it throws me off lol. I have a bengal, not sure how old coz he was a stray but I’ve had him for atleast 10 years. Absolute sweetest cat I’ve ever seen, loves all animals and cleans every animal and human that will let him. And if u don’t let him well he’s gonna make you let him. He’s the best cat I’ve ever owned behavior wise.

My cats don’t want out of the house other than on their leashes. Besides, the cats instinct for territory doesn’t justify the extension of several bird species due to outside cats. I’m not too well versed in savanna cats but I know a Bengal will let you know if they’re unhappy. You can’t just let this breed have territory and be alone you need to be walking and being with them. They just want to be with you and be active

I totally get that you probably abuse your animals so you project that sad fact onto others but most people willing to spend the type of money for one of these cats does it out of love and passion! But no I’ve never abused any animals, I’ve got 2 cats myself, Regular cats, Thousands apon thousands of them die in my state every summer bc they can’t find a home.
