Save layered sounds in the Yamaha MOX6

How to save layered sounds on the Yamaha MOX6. This video shows you how to save a performance setting vs a single sound. This is great for making easy access to those worship layered sounds that you like.
Steps to save layered sound:
Create the layer sound
Hit F6
Hit F1
Change the name of the patch
Set the performance folder you want to save it in
Click the “store” button
Override an unused sound
Press enter twice to confirm!

This tutorial is incomplete: so you can only save by overwriting something? It seems there’s 1 or 2 open slots but after that you have to sacrifice stored Performances to save any new custom ones you want to make.

Excellent question. Here is my answer: The keyboard can layer up to four sounds. Add your sounds to the layer. That way, you can change one sound without cutting the existing one.
