Not bad, but just a suggestion for drilling into PVC pipe with hole saw bits. REVERSE to cut! You get less "sticking" as the teeth aren't "yanking" at the PVC when the drill is cutting in reverse. Helpful hint passed onto me by someone who made many, many vertical hydroponic systems and used a large hole saw to cut out openings.

You have to use distilled water though as opposed to a wicking humidifier bc white dust will be everywhere inside your tent.

I have a float on my hydro jetter I've built that's a low water shut off switch. It's basically a commercial grade pressure washer with a 300 gallon water/buffer tank. Water goes low, it cuts the power from the ignition. I'd bet if you built a small frame around the mechanical float you could add it here, or one with a sensor. Unless the pond fogger already has one built in, that would be best obviously lol

once you fill the room usually plants make their own rh. great diy idea tho Gg n lant. winters so dry lol.. ive seen smaller ones similar for tanks and reptiles. compressed air foggers work great too if you can deal with the noise from the air compressor and air chuck blowing

Did you you hook up the float switch to your dehumidifier? I imagine so. Free to water that way or did you run a nother line straight to the ro system
@GreenGoblin5102 жыл бұрын
mine is hooked up to ro but you deff can also hook it up to your dehumidifier for sho

Bought a 6 heads humidifier and realise doesn't come with the power supply for it. Where can i get i like the one in your video. Voltage and current rating needed 40v-48v with 6amp

Could you downsize this to make a smaller version?

What’s that blue line you used coming from the float ball inside? I went to Lowe’s and NO ONE could tell me what it’s called. Looks kinda like the line used for an ice maker?

I have a similar setup but I added a float valve and ice maker for the water line . But I can’t get the damn thing from leaking! I have a flexible pvc hose and I have it coming out of my drop ceiling but I can’t get the damn thing to stop leaking from the hose extension at the ceiling ! Any suggestions anyone?
@nickspeakstruth13311 ай бұрын
Is the hose you’re talking about a 3/4” fitting and you’re running it to an RO line? If so, the leaking is caused by the adapter piece not being the right fitting for the male threads. Had to go to the grow store and get a custom one for my outside setup that used an RO system and it needed to be threaded properly. First adapter I used didn’t work because a garden hose is not a standard 3/4” FHT thread that you find in house plumbing on pvc. It is a measurement thread of its own. Lookup garden hose 3/4” to 1/4” RO line adapter. That’s the one you’d likely want, or vice versa depending. You were REALLY vague about the leak so not much to go on here
