Thank you for the informative video. Just a note; if your car is stuck and has DPF you need to use an engine oil that says MB 229.52,229.51 or 229.31. The oil you showed in the video doesn't have any of these approvals. Mobil1 ESP is one of the approved oils.

Pirouz Emami Thank you for the feedback 😊, yes this particular Ml w164 did not have a DPF but you are correct i should have said, please check if you’re car has a DPF and use the correct oil in relation to that.

Just did my GL 320, I use 5-40 Pennzoil Euro....I think Pennzoil is much better than mobile one. I use a pump and suck the oil from the top, the oil change is super easy doing it that way..

Before choosing oil, confirm whether you have a DPF or not.

Awesome video! Quick question though... Is that 5W 40 an esp oil? If so, could you put a link to where you bought it? All the Mobil 1 esp oils I can find are 5W 30, and I've got 190k on my bluetec so I'm looking for something a bit heavier. Thanks!

Bledar Bani if it is the w164, it has the same engine so 8.5l with oil filter changed also.

Just a note you should fill at least half the oil quantity through the oil filter housing as to not have airlocks.

how do you know if there's a airlock? you pour through the filter channel?
