This is extremely helpful. My wife of 10 years has all but shut down on me because I was lost in my own head for a long time and not only did I not make her feel like a priority but she also felt invisible. @@TheReal_Invictus we are still together. We seem to be getting along as well as we always did. There have been moments in which she has opened up a little bit but it is going to be a long process for both of us. It's been awhile since she and I have had an actual conversation about the issue and the uncertainty of our marriage it seems like anytime we had that talk we were just spinning our wheels. Now it seems like we're both working on each other and working on our marriage while trying to carry on as normally as possible. I love her dearly and she knows that Love is never been the issue. What I am having the biggest challenge is reestablishing emotional security and trust mainly because she had gone into full survival mode. I'm staying the course and I'm going to continue to work on myself and I am going to continue to show her that I can be better for her for me and for our children and hopefully sooner than later this will be a thing of the past.

My ex tried so many times to drop hints she wasn’t happy about how we were communicating and she really tried to make it work but I was very blind to the problem because I was content I looked at it like it was her problem to fix on her own. Now I’m working on myself and becoming a better person because that’s what I want for me. If my ex is attracted to those changes is a bonus but I now realize I can’t change to please someone you have to do it for yourself.

I spent 16 years serving my wife and letting her change me into someone she didnt like. I starting spending more time away from home and doing my own thing and now were getting closer. Almost like treat her worse and she will love you more

My wife asked for a pause , then a separation snd finnaly legal separation. We’ve been together for over 15year and young kids. We have to sale the house and split everything. So i really dont know if there is hope. We’ve been sonin love amd on a vacation a month ago.
