Saving a trapped hummingbird!

I caught a humming bird that was trapped in our skylight. I took it outside but before I let it go I got some really beautiful close-ups of its colorful feathers. enjoy!

I saved a hummingbird who was "trapped" in my garage. Even though the door was fully opened, it kept flying around and always landed on the power cord to the garage door opener near the ceiling. I setup my ladder just behind the cord where it was always landing, stepped up the ladder and snuck up behind him and snatched him right off the cord. I didn't know they squeaked while I held him in my palms before walking outside the garage and letting him go. Truly a small critter.

I rescued one out of the back of my car several years back. They are so beautiful. At first I thought it was a big moth or dragon fly but when I got closer to it I realized it was a small bird. It must of flew in the window on accident and tried to get out through the back but it couldn't. It was not in there for that long though.

That was not a baby, at my grandma's house we see humming birds all the time and that was really not a baby, baby humming birds are a only like a penny size.They found a grown up, not a baby because that's as big as they will get
