Helpful hint: I use a rope or bungee cord to hold the header up until I get a front bolt and the back bolt started then I can delete the rope and get the rest started. Just passing on experience from working on my cousins ford van, my stepdads 69 econoline van, and my bosses astro minivan.

You need a bolt cabinet, where everything is organized by length, width, height, weight, and color :)

Put 98 vortex 350 in my 89 GMC Van engine Gm truck s and van s so on really All the same thing s. I didn't really change much just enough say not going to spend money on stuff I don't need to 500 dollers trust took my house money I was saving God needed a safer truck to drive. Put both end bolts in manifold. Then slide gasket on.

You should have started the header bolts and then dropped the gaskets in place. That's what works best for me. You do you.
