Soemtimes we’re watching body horror being actively committed onto the character being edited in the character creator, other times we’re simply watching stone being chipped away and chiseled at from a large block of marble, watching their true form come to life-either way we’re laughing, whether it’s at their expense or not! Truck Shepard and Uncle Barry for sure fall under the former category though-possibly also the baby monster king with several diseases and _maybe_ The Final Pam, but part of me also believes they truly were always meant to be and always will be that way. The boy mayor is body horror for sure, “he is a human ransom note!”

After this video, I actually installed and played Chimeraland, and let me tell you, it is b a d. The UI is probably the worst I've ever seen, the translation is horrendous, and the amount of pop-in is unbelievable. I did find something that I PRAY they'll cover in the next video, which is the fact that you can turn your PETS into beautiful little pieces of evidence that God does not exist. For merely 100 cowries, I was able to turn my starter horse into A Thing That Should Not Exist. He is the size of a chihuahua, his front hooves are somehow BEHIND his back hooves, and his legs are so thin that in places they simply vanish, making him look like a terrible, equine Ray Man. If you call this game anything other than a goldmine for Monster Factory, you're a liar or a fool.

Oh yeah, *this* game: I remember thinking, back when I first saw gameplay footage of its character creator, that it was astonishing it had somehow not already appeared on a Monster Factory episode, given the shenanigans I saw on display (from a guy who at the time was an MMO channel, making a "serious" review, and thus not actually trying specifically to make a monster).
