I don't want to discourage you, but, as a finnish speaker, this song without captions is nigh-incomprehensible to me, as not only is it fast, it is also sung in a pretty thick accent. Seeing the lyrics does help a lot though, so don't give up!

"Oletteko musta ylpeitä?" No totta helevetissä ollaan!! This is amazing!! Finnish is already hard for some non-finnish to pronounce and yet here you are singing with a fucking dialect. Granted it's not (necessarily) the hardest dialect to speak (or pronounce more like) but I can understand if the vowel clusterfucks caused some trouble. And I gotta say your double consonants and rolling the r sounds so beautiful! I can still hear slight accent but your pronunciation is very clear and understandable that I'm very much impressed. (Btw found this video through your Bad Apple multilingual cover. Couldn't fucking believe it was you singing the finnish parts. Almost asked are you finn :D)

@@avlonskt Yeah I don't blame you. Because the thing is finnish language has changed DRASTICALLY throughout the years. Almost every decade if I may say. To the point where adolescents don't understand the younger people (like teens or kids) or the older people (like middle aged or senior) :D I read somewhere that it's possible to speak finnish in 25 different ways. I don't know how true that is but considering the formal and informal speech with all the dialects and slang I don't doubt it. So yeah this must've been one hell of a workload to manage :D but you did good! Although I gotta admit even tho I'm a finn whose heard this song so many times I actually didn't know full story of this song (because I don't speak this dialect nor did I ever bother look it up) until I read the english subtitles. So I kinda find it funny that to understand my own native language I have to look at english subs first :D
