@gregmyrland25153 жыл бұрын
Ditto in Hawaii. Only Hyundai/Kia seem to offer ventilated seats without wanting top option $10K more. If their soon to release truck is competitive with Ridgeline and oh yes they have some knobs and buttons instead of 100% touch screen it could be my deal breaker. Honda has some innovations like the tailgate but they took 4 years to change the grille? Seems they are tone deaf to what their target market wants.

Good for you for dumping it early on. My 2018 Honda Ridgeline had 5 safety recalls, made noises and was in the shop for 10 days and honda couldn't find the source and said just keep driving it it may wear down (which 5,000 miles it did) - also, the 2017-2019 ridgelines have a defect with the engines where fuel injectors are pushed in to far and clog up. Many blogs talk about this and around 50k miles i had to get mine fully replaced because check-engine emission light came on. Lots of folks have this issue. Also the 2017-2019 power train (transmission) is used on the ridgleine/odessy and pilot all have many issues with failing between 50k-70k and it costs about 5k repair. I got rid of my 2018 honda ridgeline this January of 2023 and traded it in for a Mazda. I don't miss it at all, A few weeks after dumping it i got an email of yet another recall regarding tailgate camera. So happy don't have to bring that dang thing back into the shop to waste hours for another warrenty repair. Anyway, Honda Civics and the Honda CRV have different teams and they are reliable, for me the Honda Ridgeline had the most recalls then any vehicle i ever owned and I had zero confidence it was going to last. When I drove it all i kept thing was "what's the next thing to go wrong". I am so happy i got rid of it, and not ever buying another Honda again, it was a painful experience.

Honda did a great job with the Ridgeline exterior.. It looks great.. Love the tall more upright stance, which results in better visibility, more room (and more headroom), and is more comfortable. I like this version with the traditional shifter (don't like the rotary knob or push button shifter). But not sure what Honda was thinking with bad and unattractive dashboard layout. If they just would have made it with a more traditional dashboard layout - get rid of the digital speedo and add a traditional needle speedo .. and add lots of large knobs and traditional controls - this would be an even more fantastic truck.

@DriversOnly3 жыл бұрын
Really? I had a tundra that avg around 12-13 mpg just with city driving.
@plmn933 жыл бұрын
@@DriversOnly Well driving conditions and habits vary I'm sure, but my 2006 5.4 F-150 was about 13-14 and the Tundra is still essentially a 2007 truck so that sounds about right. With my 2018 2.7 I'm getting right about what others on Fuelly are getting with theirs, which is similar to what the Ram 3.6 and GM 2.7 get as well. Need to keep it under 60 to get the EPA highway mileage, which is about never for me, but city has been better than I expected. 19-20 city is typical in the summer, winter drops 2-3 MPG. Of course when you get the turbos spooled up mileage goes to hell, lol, but it is sure fun.

These are the exact two vehicles I'm trying to decide between also haha. I've long wanted a Ridgeline and the 2021 is huge improvement looks-wise, but a van is so useful in all kinds of situations. The new sienna is a nice van. But I prefer even the odyssey to it. The sienna gives little feedback and almost feels like you’re hovering instead of driving. Incredibly smooth. To a fault. Looking to get a good deal on leftover 2020 Ridgeline. Did you review the tonneau cover? Also, besides the front of the car what is the major difference between 2020 and 2021? Thanks

Something tells me that you really are going to miss your Ridgeline, I myself am trying to decide whether to trade in my 2006 for a 2021 BE Ridgeline or keep it and get the TLX Type S.

Probably, having a truck is incredibly useful. Might get another one later on. :)

How much money did it cost for 3 years lease?

Wait, if you really enjoy driving it, then why give up? Isn’t leasing give you the chance to buy it back if choose to keep it?

I explained it at the very end of the video :) keep watching

I think the Ridgeline G2 had the deepest in-class bed around 5’4” at the time it was released, so long as it’s compared within the short-box. I don’t think any other competitors offer a larger bed without paying for the long-box upgrade to 6’.

Most full size trucks with a full cab has a 5.5" bed. So the ridgeline bed isn't far off.

I have to call this fake. You didn't drive that for three years. No man keeps his vehicle that filthy. That's a womans car.
