I guess they are just that type of people, who think that a wedding dress is a fully-white-floor-length-puffy-skirt dress and nothing else. And the bride prefered and only shown a slim, almost skin tight style. It's unique, unusual, exactly what she wanted, and what her "friends" just couldn't get their heads around. Whatever the reason, they had no right to be that rude. And they didn't even give any valid criticism, just "it doesn't look good", "it's a mess", "it's not for you".
