Now that’s a bride with some gumption! After putting them first the least they could do was consider her feelings in the matter. They didn’t act like friends or family and should be ashamed of themselves. This is why I took ONE friend and NO family shopping when I went looking for my dress. She was engaged as well, so we had duel appointments and had the best time. I narrowed it down to two dresses then took my family to model them for them. Easy peasy, and I don’t regret doing it that way.

Yeah, her entourage was pretty obnoxious, but she refused to even show several of the dresses they wanted her to try on. The bride looked good in all of the dresses she tried on, but none of them were the showstopper that she said she wanted. I don't think the consultants served her well that day, because there are lots of dresses to choose from in that store. There is no way she couldn't find something that really suited her, and I think her entourage was keenly aware of that. Also, the entourage was remarkably consistent. They did not like any of the dresses the bride showed, but they were not in disagreement with each other.

As a long time fan of this show, that’s the one important thing I learned. My first shopping experience I went with just my cousin/MoH. When I got down to 2-4 dresses in one bridal salon after doing extensive searching, that’s when I brought my mom, grandma, and my bff/bridesmaid. That’s it. I didn’t wanna drag myself and other people around from store to store, knowing having too many choices will overwhelm me.
