Right? There are ppl commenting things like “well don’t you want your bridesmaids to be comfortable?” Um did she ever indicate that wearing a dress would be torture for her? No, she’d PREFER a pant suit. Doesn’t mean a dress has to be a big deal for one day just because she wouldn’t chose it for herself. @@mar-k7104 Not gonna lie, there are times though when brides should take their bridesmaids' comfort levels into consideration. There was a time I would have backed out of being one just because of severe body image issues. I would not have been able to wear a dress that revealed my arms or legs without the risk of having a panic attack at a loved one's wedding. I have been a bride myself. It isn't hard to listen to your bridesmaids or to let them feel confident and comfortable too. It's worth it to take your time with it so everyone is feeling comfortable and happy on the day.

I was the same way when my mom wanted my sister to wear a dress, when my sister clearly doesn't like wearing dresses. She did end up wearing a dress, but I wanted to make it clear that it might make her feel uncomfortable. She was just looking out for her.

Like seriously she was pushing on the bride and it is the brides day, it should be her choice if she wants her sister to wear a dress or not. And like the sister said at the end “It’s only one day of her life”. So I think the girlfriend should’ve either kept quite, because she knew that the bride wanted her to wear a dress, or she should’ve gone with a better way of expressing her feelings

@@jordanm7132 To be honest, I really don't like that whole "just her day" thing when it comes to weddings. I mean weddings are supposed to be about the celebration of love. If I was in that position, I sure as heck would not make someone wear something they aren't comfortable in. That just seems flat out selfish to me. Yeah sure, it's a wedding, but I would rather my guests be comfortable, especially my direct family members, than to force them into something that could make them feel high anxiety over a silly dress.
