Got Gills? The one thing about fishing that bait is you can get out of position trying to get a hookset so quickly and easily, it looks crazy awkward!!!!!

Man I had the same flukes used for flounder. Ordered the scrounger first cast at Harris this past Sunday 3lb fatty haha. In 20 ft drop counted off a few seconds and retrieved.

he used a white ice 5.25" superfluke, but the rest was kept secret. I'm into the learning myself just getting into scrounger heads. I won't subscribe for "entertainment value" only channels, there's too many instructional channels out there.

The scrounger has to be one of the toughest baits to figure out. Definitely recommend sticking with one brand for a little bit when you first start using them.

I've got the jenkos, waiting on the picasso. Jenko is legit just need a good scrounger. I bought two luck-e-strike. One had a terrible hook and the other one would just spin. Fish head version is crap, bill pops out way too easy. Hopefully the picascco is better.

I usually target the suspended fish with the scrounger, I don’t think many people take that approach, more often fishing it along the bottom

kushcrumbleshatter1990 I was torn between the hog wobblers and the picasso. I've heard great things about picasso so I figured I'd try them. I did get some castaics too. Honestly, can't go wrong with just a basic super fluke as a trailer. So far on my lake, I get more bites with the fluke but I've also put more time into using the fluke.

Unless I'm way off base, I think the average 1/2 hour TV show has 10 minutes of commercials and 20 minutes of program content. This video is 20:04 minutes long. So you have produced enough content to fill a 1/2 hour TV fishing show. Think about that for a minute, Matt. Some nice bass today. Keep it up.

Jeremy Newhouse we have been fishing that reservoir for close to 30 years, well, I have, so knowledge of spots and having had success on some of them from previous outings helps a lot. I have however caught really good fish from other bodies of water using the same bait and technique!! I think it travels well and fishes well in waters that have shad based forage for sure!!
