This story has been running for 20 years so there were a number of things that he added years later, changed his mind on, or retconned. He is good at improvising or making new ideas fit in the story but he is not perfect. Oda also believed that the fruits name was gomu gomu no but changed his mind later on when he got new ideas

My favorite mech anime is, of course, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It is just over the top badass with cool characters and fights. And I love the whole Drill stuff like "Drill a path to tomorrow" and the drill being like a double helix of what was before and what comes next. 100% recommend watching the 2nd movie of it too, since it feels kinda of like a true ending. It is peak stuff.

Basically, the difference between Bonney and Shinobu's Devil Fruits is that Bonney's works with Time while Shinobu's works with Age. Shinobu just ages things quickly, making them functionally older permanently, but Bonney can temporarily push things forward or backward in their timeline, or even along alternate timelines.

I wonder if an awakened Bonney would have permanence over her ability to change somebodies age, if by awakening she could actually restore Momonosuke's true age. (Never gonna happen, or atleast not while Momo is still a child.) Has anybody ever thought about the fact that Bonney's fruit allows her to consume her every meal at it's peak freshness? No matter how old somethin might be, she gets to eat it fresh, every fruit is perfectly ripe.

I think the next we see of the fruit will be in the Void Century flashback. Not in the current time line. And it's still an open question whether the fruit has to reincarnate close to where the last user died. We know that can happen, but we also know the Nika fruit "evaded the government". The best way to do that would be to reincarnate somewhere remote after each user dies.

My speculation is Beckman uses Haki infused bullets that act kinda like grenades which blows any target to bits, considering the way "Ryuo"/Haki acts upon contact with objects. This way Beckman closes up the gap between him and Devil fruit users.
