Scalextric Guide Mount Fix

In this video we show you how to fix a scalextric guide blade mount. A bent or broken guide blade mount can cause you scalextric / slot car to veer of the track, crash ruin your fun…. But fear not, with just a few simple tools and a 3d printed replacement part, you can get your scalextric / slot car back on track in no time at all.
This is the first time I’ve done this and the results are pretty good, the car is running the track well and handling the corners like a dream.

With regards to our scalextric car review videos we promised, We are waiting on track barriers from the UK, We don’t want to ruin anymore cars so We’ve bought barriers, that way We can go full pelt on the timed laps for the videos. Hopefully they arrive this week 😜

Helpful video. Thank you. I bought some in the UK that seem too large, so I cut and discarded the outer ring. The triangle part glued onto the chassis and works perfectly.

Yeah, I think if it was 1mm smaller in diameter it would of been a little easier. After more testing round the track after the video upload, it broke 😖 too brittle the material. The concept works tho. I'll see if I can find some printed with a stronger material. I get blasted with import and VAT charges when buying from UK so that line is closed for me ☹️
