Nissan GT-R is still a Dream car for many... Nissan Kicks is a good compact SUV which is under-rated. Nissan's buidd quality is one of the best. I've booked a Nissan Magnite yesterday, despite many relatives warning me not to buy Nissan vehicles. I really liked the product and price. It's a well built (saftey aspect), frugal, powerful and spacious car. I considered the fact that even if Nissan India stops its operations in India, its factory will still operate here and so spare parts availability would not be an issues. I'm not sure how sound my logic is, but at least it's my hope.

Nissan magnite is a game changer for nissan in India really a smart move by pricing it agressively, safety, good features I'm a big fan of Nissan and Honda as they gave one of the best jdm cars in the 90's . I bought Nissan magnite around 18 months ago. You mentioned that Nissan has done cost cutting ... Nissan magnite XE which was back then at 5 lakh ex showroom ( now at 6 lakh ) Being at entry level car price Nissan provides 16 inch tyres , Rear wiper , rear defogger, all 4 power windows , Front and Rear Adjustable Head Rest ... You can't even get this in base models of Maruti Brezza , tata nexon , tata punch , kia sonet , etc.... Even second top models lag rear viper and rear defogger Yes there is a bit cost cutting in terms of fitment. The fitment level is average but not that bad. But you are getting a 4 star 🌟 Global and Asian NCAP Rating car 🚗 . The service centers are limited but keep in mind that the service cost is very low 👍 . Even lesser than Maruti or tata. The service guys are great in cities such as hyderabad..

Nissan has an awesome 1.2 liter series hybrid powerplant called e-power. Good for 30KM/L efficiency. Under the hood of the Magnite or the Renault Triber twin from Nissan's stable, it would do wonders. 1.2 liter petrol engine means 21% tax savings. It is stuff like this which brings an automaker to the pinnacle.

A good recipe for vehicle manufacturers. Box D segment old school defender design. Ladder on frame. Bouncy suspension. High ground clearance. 4x4 diesel. Decent engine. No infotanment. I have a 2015 Datsun Go model... I think it's the worst decision I have taken in my life... I have never seen a car brand which have each and everything worst... From parts, quality, to after sales service and also the resale value - everything sucks...
