Massimo Bucci is a real great musician, able to show what actually a composition is made of, and Joe's compositions are made by what in univers and uman beeing is goin' on. Tú versión me conmueve hasta el alma hermano! No tiene ni una nota de más, es sublime. Siempre vuelvo a escucharla, me trae recuerdos porque la primera vez que la escuché fue un 31 de diciembre a la noche, y generalmente son momentos de reflexión profunda, se cierra un año y se abre otro, y escuchar tu versión esa noche me marcó, me tocó una fibra sensibile, así que ahora que se aproxima fin de año, vuelvo a escucharte, porque necesito sumirme en la armonía de esta canción y de tu forma tan bella y profunda de interpretarla, para renovar esperanzas de que la vida es bella, y que agradezco por este año que termina, y por todos los que vendrán, que siempre nos acompañará la buena música y los grandes músicos como vos. Dear Massimo, I am so impressed by your sensitive treatment of one of my favorite Zawinul supermelodies. Unlike pop music this song has very little repetition, and I think can be viewed as a long conversation or commentary/description, perhaps of a feeling Josef got after someone said something thought/song provoking. I have listened to this song since its creation in the late ‘70’s, and have never heard an arrangement capture its essence singlehandedly! Bravissimo, Massimo, gracie!!!! I am now inspired to add this tune as a small jazz ensemble tune to try and play with my friends here in N. Texas.
