Well guys. Yet another great video. Thanks. You are getting better with each one and your first one was great. Loved the swimming hole. Just beautiful. This adventure you are showing is has been awesome. Shame you didn't get a good sun rise shot. Those darn clouds. I did not realize spruce knob was the highest point in WV. Interesting. You taught me something. Kewl Beans. Looking forward to your next video. In the meantime, have fun and be safe.

Thanks, we learn a lot each time we film & edit these videos- there is a lot that goes into it! The swimming hole was a great find & maybe I will be able to get a good sunrise next time we are in West Virginia

sounds like it is time for an adventure! when I get back from traveling I am much more patient, creative and focused...so it is really better for everyone if I get to travel regularly 😂 it is like hitting the reset button on life

I stumbled onto one of your videos yesterday and have been sorta binge watching them this weekend. I like the content, format and editing. We live near Baltimore and have a place in Cape May so a lot of the places you are going to, we have been or may want to go to some day. We have a 30' Travel Trailer in the driveway and I'm slowly working on installing a full solar system. We hope to be going full time in the near future. I enjoy watching your adventures and will continue to do so. I do have one suggestion. For some reason, portrait video from the cell phone jars me. If you turn your phones 90 degrees, the video you add from them will be much more seamless. Just a thought. Your videos are well made none-the-less. Thanks for including us in your adventures. glad you are enjoying the series- we really enjoyed this trip & we are so happy to have the Scamp! Cape May is a great area- we go down there regularly as my family has a house by the canal. We love hearing about people going full time & living in a way that works for them - we are all about alternative living choices! ... and I hear you about the vertical shots with the phone. Those are stuck in there when we either forgot to get footage of something so I take stuff from Patrick's phone or one of the cameras died...we just need to remember to turn the phone 🙈 each time we film a trip we learn something new about filming & editing so it gets a little better! Thanks for watching!

The clouds at sunrise in Seneca Rocks were beautiful! Like the time lapse 👍🏻 Starlight was an awesome view in the teaser you gave us. Anticipating your next one 😊

It was not the sunrise I was hoping for, but it was really interesting to see how the clouds were moving- that is travel...you may think you are going to get one experience but end up with something very different...maybe even better!. Starlight was great- especially in the off season when it is quiet

I know how Patrick feels about heights...don't like them. That swimming hole looked fantastic! So, hows that small scamp working out for the three of you? I keep considering a small trailer such as that.
@LetNewAdventuresBegin
@LetNewAdventuresBegin 4 жыл бұрын
The swimming hole was a great find! we love the scamp, but we are also people that don't need much space. We prefer things that are smaller and more efficient. The Scamp has everything that you need, but it is small enough to fit into small camp sites and you can take it down narrow national park roads without a problem so that is a major benefit of a small trailer

Can you do a video explaining the different systems, electrical and which Appliances run on them them ? Also how long you can run the fridge, heater, air on the diff systems? Thanks for your time. Peacefrom510 .
@LetNewAdventuresBegin
@LetNewAdventuresBegin 4 жыл бұрын
sure- we are going to do a full Scamp tour in the spring when the weather is better. During this trip we mostly ran the fridge off propane and didn't even go through 1/2 tank. We don't have AC or a microwave and we still have to play around with the heat system to see how long we can run it when not plugged into power, but it heats up the scamp really quickly when we turn it on.

How did you like the full hook-up experience at that last campground?
@LetNewAdventuresBegin
@LetNewAdventuresBegin 4 жыл бұрын
the last campground was dry camping (Loft mountain in Shenandoah national park), but the next video we we did have full hook ups for our last night of this trip (Starlight camping resort) & that worked out great- we flushed out all the tanks really well before heading home. I prefer the more remote campsites that don't have full hook ups, but doing that on the last night might be our new camping strategy

Enjoyed all your videos and all the sights on your trip , now it was nice to see people RVing and not telling the story of the trip . Plus when they start getting more people to subscribe they start endorsing the products they use, not a fan of that...great video's.!

Patrick I wouldn't have gone up.there to begin with my friend, but on second thought ,your best one like many women usually don't take any mess when it comes to special occasions! So I feel you lol might as well brave the heights than ri risk a long journey home with an unhappy angry best one ! She did however film you looking cool rather than afraid ,bro ( my face ) would've been tear stained lmao Seriously

we are a good pair because I grew up in the mountains I am very comfortable with hiking and rock scrambles (Patrick gets a little nervous) but...Patrick grew up by the ocean & spent many years as a life guard so the Ocean is his second home...me on the other hand- very uncomfortable in the ocean- So I think it is all what you get used to growing up

@@LetNewAdventuresBegin I totally agree, now take myself for instance I grew up in some of the worst housing projects in Detroit Michigan it was never quiet safe or clean .especially in the high rise projects never knowing what was on the other end of an elevator door, after it opened on each floor towards the 9 floors you had to endure, and the same could be said for the staircase, where nearly every other floor was darkened because the lights were broken out ,( remembering) the panic and fear that gripped me each day from the age of 6 to 12 ,it was only through the assurances and percitance of my mother who was a strong ,brave and wise woman like yourself that I managed to conquer some of my phobias, but doll heights and deep water aren't on that list lol but like I said I really admire and respect you and Patrick who in no way shape or form looks like the cowering type ,I just actually recognize his uneasiness with great heights ,Patrick is a lot braver than I am when it comes to all things dealing with nature ,hiking and csmping in the woods or parks with wolves bears snakes and ticks that will make your skin crawl ! But ..I'm excited and inspired by your own experiences which I'm enjoying, so thanks again to both of you for sharing these precious moments ,and please keep me in mind if you guys ever choose to upgrade or retire the scampy, I'll start saving right away lol Seriously
