Hey as a sealed collected, I feel like that's a good thought. It's easier to keep boxes closed if there's nothing that hits your chase button. And then buy the cards you do really like.

That Eevee IR from Twilight Masquerade will start to catch up to cards like Raging Bolt and Carmine SIR.. It looks cheap right now.

Carmine is dropping hard. Eevee just climbed and is dropping a little but it will most likely be the 2nd most expensive card in this set in the near future.

It’s crazy that SV is shooting up all over the place. We’re only a couple years in and still have atleast one to go. Reprints are extremely likely still, even on the first sets in the generation. Remember when there was a XY evolutions etb restock halfway through SwSh? Anything is possible at this point. Especially with a set as recent at TM, it’s unreasonable to think there won’t be a reprint.

If you open up Crown Zenith or Scarlet & Violet base you'll feel like you're seeing a lot of hits. Compared to more recent sets where the hits feel more concentrated in fewer packs.

Yea I can clearly see that. My first ETB was the Crown Zenith and I got the Mewtwo and Mew. However, the Lost Origin, Stellar Crown and Paldea Fates ETB's were all duds. I guess this is my welcome to the Pokemon collecting haha.

I know why twilight is doing this. I watch rip and ships all the time. For about 2 months, you couldn't find a streamer that wasn't ripping twilight masquerade. Everytime a box gets opened and ripped, that's one less on the market. On top of it having the highest value card in the Era, it makes sense. Once the pc etbs are sold out, twilight is going to the moon. Nothing to stop it but a reprint, and with new sets coming out, it's not likely.

@@JDilla989 not at all. I collect the cards that I like. I don’t know how you can play it any different. Half the artworks, if not 80% in a set are terrible. Why would you want to collect something that looks like shit? My binder is full of gorgeous cards like Bubble Mew, Giratina Alt Art, Magikarp from Paldean Evolved, Bubasaur and Squirtle from Stellar Crown, bunch of 151 illustration rares (the best artworks of any set), etc. Not some gay master set.
