I'd be too if Feige killed off my character before I got my own movie... as that character. I'd be low key pissed and frustrated that my big moment comes after the studio has completely eliminated any sense of stakes/tension because fans already know my fate, as well as investment because fans feel like there's no point to caring about a character who's already dead and whose story was closed. It's like forcing someone to read the last chapter of a mystery novel and then trying to get them excited about going back and reading the first half.

I think most of us saw Iron Man’s death coming from a mile away because RDJ has been playing that character for a decade and hasn’t really had the opportunity to branch out into non-Marvel projects, he’s also very expensive for Marvel and he isn’t getting any younger. Natasha’s death was really shocking, partially because we knew she was getting a solo movie, which has been long overdue and partially because there’s still so much about her that we don’t know, and Scarlett’s still young and capable of doing a BW Trilogy. Guess we’re only getting just the one instalment with her.

Tony dying hurts, but it's bound to happen, but with Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, to think Marvel chose Hawk Eye over Black Widow, what happened to her hurts a thousands.
