Specifically Ctrl+F'ed to thumbs-up this. I don't think that the achievement could be anything other than that. The only other result that I get is the slogan for a cartoon within a cartoon called "The Mark of the Mouse." My guess for how this happened is that the localization team had to find a suitable translation for the Japanese achievement, which presumably would have referenced a work that western audiences know nothing about. If it is a reference to Game Theory, it could have also been picked because it was related to FNAF, one of the most influential horror franchises in modern times.

RE 6 had terrible connection problems in Coop mode, would crash for no reason and it's debatable whether the offline partner AI was buggy or simply shit but point is playing offline effectively turned the game on the hardest difficulty level because your partner would just. not. do. anything. Except stand around and spam the "Let's go!" command while you were desperately telling them to come and open one of those idiotic 2-person-doors. Framerate wasn't that hot either.

I mean, we'll probably never know for sure what Silent Hills would've been like, but PT was a lot more about screwing with your head with paranormal stuff. I realize this is a year old comment, but Jack's movement speed changes depending on the difficulty. On Hard, he runs about as fast as Ethan, which (in my opinion and going on memory a year later) makes this one of the most difficult areas in the entire game.

can I say I love the disonance in this game, this family if not for being unkillable psychopaths with a few totally strange concepts (like snake and scorpion doors) have a regular friggin house! They have potatoe chips near the main table, some toast prepared, sports memorabilia that is clearly well kept, magazines and books that are well kept, its like the total opposite of what you normally see in horror. Hell we even have a diary being kept by the main villains before they became the villains.

I'm playing in PSVR and I have to say, this game gives you so many nostalgic reminders about RE1 and 2, except you're right there in it, instead of looking through a camera overhead... They really have nailed the merge of classic RE exploration and puzzle solving with newer Amnesia style horror games together in a fantastic demonstration of how either of those styles could, and perhaps should evolve.

CATcatCATwoof My guess is the mother and father keeping going on about a gift. So some umbrella ship crashed nearby, leaking experiment virus strains into the area. The family got infected by one, and became immortal. But it wears off? Cause if Umbrella had such a powerful virus it would've been used over the T-virus etc. So they discovered that if you infect then eat the infected you can maintain the power? That or they want to make their "family" bigger and to do so requires infecting others and only way they know how is to feed people infected flesh

Watching playthroughs of parts I have already done really also shows me things that I may of not experienced in my playthrough. Like, the only people so far that had the craziest, WTF that can happen in the game, is Two Best Friends Play. Before the garage fight there is a chance that Jack can dismember your right leg, and there will be a neat little thing of, picking up your leg, and reattaching it. It is sooo nutz, omg.

Something about the family reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode "It's a Good Life" that also inspired a similar Justice League episode. They are trying to be normal and the second something differs they lose it. Look at not only how Marguerite speaks and acts at the start of the meal, but after Ethan refuses to eat. Her face physically changes like Mia's did. I bet if he actually ate, and pretended to go along with them, they would be perfectly cordial.
