Scary moment for Kurt Suzuki as he collapses tonight.

After taking a pitch in the dirt during warmups, Kurt collapses in the dugout. It looked like he wasn't prepared for the warmup pitch or perhaps was suffering from something before the pitch. He left the field on his feet but collapsed in the dugout. Praying for the legendary catcher.

That was scary. Looks like he was possibly hit on the side of the neck where the vagus nerve runs through.... which I believe can cause a irregular heartbeat.

When someone is hit on the torso and begins to collapse protocol in base should be to let him come to the ground and get a stretcher to carry him out. His team mates are just pulling him putting more pressure on a possible fracture. How could they not realize they should not do that. It's common sense.

Exactly. When Giancarlo Stanton was hit in the face and dropped to the ground, they brought out a stretcher and carried him out on a cart. A strike to the chest and above where you can't walk on your own should get a stretcher and cart, then straight to a hospital.

He got hit really hard where his airway got blocked and was fainting because he got in the neck area I think his airway got blocked and started to faint and couldn't breathe
