It's been 2 weeks. I've been watching your videos on a daily basis because I had two interviews to attend. Luckily, I passed the first interview yesterday for a teller position, and I've been sent the offer letter today. But I've not decided yet because I'm having another interview on the way next week for the position of accounts receivable Specialist and according to the advice I received the interview will be a scenario and excell based session, so I'm waiting to see the best offer in case i got the offer for the accounts receivable Specialist. In the Oil and Gas industry you absolutely can't go against company policy and do the job without the training. For example to do analyses in the lab you have to be signed off. If your manager asks you to run a test that you were never trained for you have right, more you must to say no. Other wise you risk your job and your manager job. The answers really depends on where are you planning to get a job.

I'd thought that scenario-based questions were much harder and more technical or “Business Analysis function-based” than this. I was thinking scenario test was more of project-oriented. Except the last scenario, I have faced all others in my work and had followed exactly the same solutions you mentioned. For the scenario where manager wants us to do against organizational rules, if he/she is not convinced with our alternative route, I would still stay away from it though it hurts my manager. Because ultimately it's company to which we are serving! Any other suggestions?

I guess it depends on how stupid the rule is, but I dont understand the last one. 8:35 Your loyalty is to the company, not to the manager. If your supervisor is breaking chain of command by disobeying a rule, why dont you protect the company first? Note: a similar scene was shown in Mad Men, but in that case the guy who "snitched" on his boss took into notice some personal background that was not putting the company in danger at all, so it was totally inappropriate.
